Okay So it has become a common and easy thing to say "I'm Bored" but in all actually are you REALLy bored? or is it just the time that you are not doing something you HAVE to do your not taking that opportunity to do something you may have WANTED to do. See it's really easy to say "im bored" when someone ask what are you doing, or ow are you but that could change! Just think when things you ave to do is over such as school, or work, or business why not take the off time and make it into you time! Doing whatever it is you want to do! Try something new life is so big huge actually there is SO much to do but at times that is forgotten and it leaves room for "boredom" I believe people should ave a self list meaning things they want to do when they have free time from what they have to do. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: Next time anyone is bored, what could you do to avoid even getting bored in the first place? or if you are indeed bored really think of some ways of how to change it apose to accepting it because accepting boredom is something close to wasting life away.... I would like to know some of your thoughts and inputs on this discussion and or some of your ideas or things you do to get out of or avoid boredom! lets chat! :)

I don't understand how this became such a popular response. Why is it hard to find things to occupy yourself with instead of being bored. I'm always busy. I wish I had time to be bored!

I think one can listen to songs and music and to engage in activities that one loves to prevent feeling boredom.

What a good thing to say ajithlal and so true! Just try something like listening to music and our moods can be instantly changed. I wonder what boredom is? A mood of helplessness maybe? I think a person can be lonely in huge city, bored doing a job and poor with a lot of money.

When I get bored, I ask my youngest son to come with me to the mall. My life isn't really a lot of fun especially that my husband doesn't like the idea of me hanging out with friends. Good thing that I grew up mostly to be at home, that what seems to be a bore to some might mean something beneficial for me. To kill my boredom and retain my sanity, I keep myself busy online and try to make money out of the sites I have joined.

Yessss I try to make money in my spare time to avoid boredom! but I really don't have the problem of being bored. I do so much and stay busy that boredom at times if im not as busy try to come in I still have something to do to make sure it doesn't make it in. But that is great the choices you make to keep from being bored and they are beneficial and that is helpful to you so not only do you stay from being bored but you benefit from it and that is a great blend! Very smart!

Lol but it's easy to just say your bored and that be it but it would be better to make a change boredom isn't healthy! even when you think you bored there's always something that can be done; and it doesn't even have to be anything big it can be small! but because your doing something it takes the thought of being bored away. Even lazy people don't have to be bored!

Everyone experiences boredom in there life I'm sure but everyone reacts differently. Sometimes we can be forced into it. Like waiting in the waiting room to see a doctor only to be led to another smaller room for more waiting. When my doctor asked me if he could help me I said wait a minute I am busy. He said ok fine and went to leave and I had to grab his arm and say can't you take a joke. Well, joking is not being bored but there are maybe better ways to deal with it. I try to do things that challenge me or look to education. I wish I had the money to travel but that isn't going to happen anytime soon I think. The parking lot in the back of my home is my vacation spot. Still if I look around I see little things that really make life interesting, well a butterfly might not be a large event in ones life nor is it the tashmatall - so much for my spelling tonight, you figure that one out. I think you understand my point? We can be bored which in my mind is like a crime or insult to our gift of life or we can take a different stance and find something of beauty.

Good question, I think I would like to put people first. So any journey would need that part in it. I couldn't be happy just looking at buildings or great views. They are always better with other people in the picture. I'm not sure but I do know that I used to journey out without having a destination in mind. That can be good or bad though, you just don't know. I like your attitude. Sure why not change something for the better. If we can do that, why not!

Veryyyy nice! and lol yeah some people lack sense of humor; but yeah bored does occur but what im saying is just because it occurs doesn't mean it has to stay; I like how you move your boredom to something benificial thats really amazing! And I agree traveling would be an amazing passtime! and definitely I dont think there would be room for boring unless you went to an boring place but when you first go somewhere it isn't automatically boring it may tend to get boring; but you brought some excellent points! & great input! Thankou! :) but on the note of traveling where would you like to travel to?!

Thats true! I don't like to be alone so I believe any trip I would take would be 100% better if I have someone or people with me. It also would keep things fun and interesting because I wouldn't be alone so I wouldn't have to worry about boredom either with would be great cause i hate to be bored. lol

That's really how I am as well. lol I stay busy so boredom really isn't in my vocab much but when it is it's only cause I have to wait or cause I completed everything I could at that time! But I always find more things to do so it never really is a continual boring thing for me. But thats good to know others are like me in that sense! Stay awesome and making money! :)

I think one gets bore when one is not doing anything. I think if a person gets busy most probably he or she gets less boredom. I think it is good to have good hobbies in life to be busy and to engage in different things.
