Oh spring...where art thou?

Oh no, I'm sorry, that totally stinks..:( We have had rain the last two days, but it has been warm, a definite spring kind of weather. I will push some of this your way..

We've got lots and lots of rain.. which I suppose is good. April showers bring May flowers!

I thought it was bad here in Boston but I think we're finally done with snow and now are dealing with rain every day which I would rather have than snow. Happy snow day!

many are having a long winter this year, it seem like. it is basically trying to be spring over here. we just can't stop having cold days. no snow though, as it doesn't snow in this part of the u.s. i miss it and like it, just not in april.

Well it is not here even though the robin thinks so. The news says it is coming our way tonight. Isn't it strange that storms come up from the south this time of year. I wish we could put in a bottle and let it out slowly when it gets so hot. Winter - Summer - Winter

Personally I think it really depends on where a person lives, as to what type of weather to expect where. And a lot of people in many states are seeing colder weather than normal for sure. We are in the 70s again here while others are getting snow. I seen actually the forecast for today here in Washington is supposed to be warmer than a lot of states even. Strange weather for sure and I just hope when it finally decides to warm up everywhere, we don't have a hot heat wave instead.

I heard on the news the weather in your area wasn't so nice. Did it melt yet or still cold? We had tornadoes come through our area last Wed. evening. Had all of us concerned enough to get to the basement and seek shelter. It actually touched down about 10 miles from us and the wind was out of control. I put jackets away, take them back out again, put away again. This is the time of the year too we have on the a/c, turn heat on again and go back to a/c. Right now the heat is on again! Been a crazy spring so far but hopefully it will get better. Let me know if you find spring and where it has been hiding. I can't find it!

All I know is here in Ohio it's cold right now and rainy and I hate those two put together. No snow but rain. I feel sorry for you and I hope it really starts warming up all over the place. We're suppose to get some warmer weather next week......maybe you will too. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.

I'm working on the assumption that there can only be so much rain in the sky and that at some point it has to stop. Sigh.

You are getting snow while here in the midwest we are getting rain and more rain! Some rivers are at flood stage! The stable where i work the indoor area flooded and the creek that goes under the drive way has flooded over the drive way! The horse,boarded inside,have been inside since sunday! I know some homes are having flooding problems in their basements! The parking lot at work flooded! So bad only there was very few parking spots to use! Have no idea when the rain will end! I am so sick of the rain! The weather has made me sick and I am depressed not seeing the sun! I'd like to know where spring is hiding,too!

Up at our summer place, water turn on is up for grabs! We used to know almost exactly the date the plumbers could turn it on. No one has gotten a date yet. I've noticed for the last few years the seasons hang on for dear life to the final date. Then the switch flips and viola, the new season begins. We used to get some new season teasers like sudden 50 degree weather for a day or two. That doesn't happen anymoe more. I put $10 on April 21.

The weather just got warmer here about a week ago. I'm on the east coast. It's probably around the corner, just the last of winter pushing itsway out before the warmth. It's a pain in the butt, but it'll be there before you know it. Have patience :-)

hi jillhill okay ,my response just flew off so cop y post now. Spring is over here in Southern California its sunny and about 73out Fahrenheit and windy bit a pleasant day. So I do think "spring has sprung, the grass is riz," and I know where all the birdies is. they are seagulls swinging down to eat leftover fist from the dumpster behind the Vietnamese grocery stored I do not remember where I got that silly little poem about spring being sprung.,

I thought that springtime had arrived, but it apparently isn't fully here yet. I'd sort of made the "oh, it's spring" declaration and considered packing away my winter clothing. Thankfully, I didn't start the process; I don't think that I will bother to change things out until at least the end of the month. I do like wintry weather. However, our electric bill is a rather unhappy thing. We are in a drafty rental, so winter heating bills are rather brutal.
