I learned about moneymaking while playing FarmVille. It's one of those things that you notice after countless hours of clicking here and there. But because it's too obvious, players take it for granted. Anyway, what I learned from playing FarmVille is the importance of assets especially moneymaking assets. Some things that you buy like decorations don't do anything, but things that allow you to earn, those are the more important ones. This insight is so crucial that when I started playing FarmVille2, I actually applied it with a bit of success (i.e., I leveled up at a faster rate). How awesome would it be if we can translate our success at FarmVille to the real world?

I thought you will share another way of earning from farmville. Well, anyway, making the right decisions, proper allocation of funds and time management are some of the things that we can learn from the game. So as a result, I decided to stop playing because I want to apply it on the real world.

Frankly, I think playing FarmVille is a waste of time. But you'd be surprised to learn that many people actually pay real money to waste their time on this game or any online game for that matter. I myself (because I had money in my PayPal account) spent $2 to acquire a robot in Social Wars. That was the first time I actually did that.

Hi there Bloggerroo! One of the important lessons that I have learned from Farmville that I can actually apply in real life would be perfect timing. This also involves wise and careful planning. This is mostly learned in choosing which crops to plant, planning what time you will be online again and also being online on that time so that you will be able to harvest your crops on time and not be online earlier that you will have to go online again later to check or too late that your crops are already withered. Time is valuable and careful planning, having back up plans and learning about perfect timing is important in life.

Yup. You learn to make choices. That's what I like about FarmVille. But of course, the game makes it easy for us because the choices are already known including the outcome. And you get feedback about your choices so you know quickly if you made the right choice or not.

I know how to play Farmville but I am not interested. Lots of money to invest especially Paypal when you play this kind of game.

I was thinking, playing Farmville and similar games online is a waste of time and unproductive work. Hence I stayed away from such games. Now after reading your experience, I feel, they are not really waste. If that game helped to think and prompted to make money, that is worth. Please remember that your experience may not be the same for others. There are many people doing online games for killing the time. Any way good to hear from you and wish you happy mylotting!

Hi Bloggeroo I have not played Farmville but it sounds like fun and I know what you mean would it be like monopoly where we learn how to invest by buying the right properties and so on.
