Someone famous on mylot?

How would you react if someone here on mylot was famous? Have you ever wondered that maybe there is someone who is famous that we would be chatting with and never knew? I personally would love to chat with Betty White she would be a hoot, and of course Bon Jovi (he is too handsome) what would your choice or choices be?

I don't think they'll not join in this site...for what? not absolutely for earnings.. maybe for fun..I think they are too busy for this stuff...

You never know cttolledo, stranger things have happened than that. You would be surprised to find out who does come on here, it is nice to imagine that we are talking to someone famous however I myself find there are many top- notch people here already! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kenshin I think the more people hear about mylot they like it because it is so private, and even celebrities need a place to vent why not here? One may never know that is for sure.1 person likes this

Interesting thoughts here, but personally, this is something I don't think you would ever see here without someone falling and everyone knowing about it. I'm not saying it would never happen here, but I doubt it as most of them would think there are better things in their life to do with their time.

Hi Krausehome Oh those famous people are busy, but I had this thought how I do like it here as it is a very private place to share and for some vent and if someone who was famous just wanted to get away from it all they could come here. I just think we are a fun bunch and you just never know. Thanks for sharing.

I guess if someone famous were on here I would be surprised. But, I would treat them just like I do everyone else who is here...as if they were not famous. I'm sure if they were on mylot they would be doing it as a means to escape temporarily from their professional lives so I wouldn't pester them with the questions they deal with on a daily basis regarding their profession and their celebrity status. Would I be curious about all those things? Sure. But I just don't get caught up in all the fanatic admiration of famous people like a lot of people do. As far as I'm concerned they are just like you and me. It's just that they have a career that puts them in the public spotlight most of the time.

Well, I don't think they get tired of people treating them nicely. Unless they know that the person treating them nicely isn't sincere about it. Everyone wants to be treated nicely and with respect and I think they would prefer that the respect be genuine. But, If someone famous were on here and I knew who they were I would still treat them and correspond with them the way I do everyone else on here. I think a lot of people on here, if they knew someone famous was a member of mylot, would badger them with the same kind of fanatic adoration and questions that they deal with on a daily basis in the public eye. But not everyone would.

Hi dogsnme That would be the whole reason that it would be great for them to be here because they would be treated like everyone else, and no one would ever know unless they revealed themselves, I am sure they tire of people treating them nice because like you said they are no different than you and me. I have never thought about it but honestly, I don't put famous people on a pedestal like most people do. I know they are just people who got a lucky break in life. Or they have a talent that actually got noticed...
So, I really don't have any desire to meet anyone who got so lucky in life. I feel that is good for them but while they are enjoying their awesome life, I struggle with mine.

You asked if there was ANY famous person I would like to meet-I answered your question NO. They are NO MORE SPECIAL than anyone else on Earth, so why would I want to meet them???

I feel you completely missed the question (there was nothing mentioned that I was putting any one on a pedestal) It was meant to be a FUN Question, I personally felt it was nothing but a negative response towards them in general, and many famous people have had their own struggles in life (like Oprah) and many more, that none of them had a LUCKY BREAK like you are saying, I think your response is rude and I am just being honest, I sometimes feel it is better to keep the peace I am here like everyone else to be kind, and helpful this is why I skipped over it you want the truth this is how I seen your response.

Well, it's just okay with me. We are all friends here and having someone who is famous joining this site for some reason, then that would be fine. I am always open to be friend with anybody whether famous or not.

Are you talking about a celebrity joining here ? Wow then that would be great ! How i wish for Oprah to be here , so sure i will be learning great wisdom from her! I would be the proudest and happiest then . We have famous here in Mylot i guess , the old timers and the guru's here ! We are learning from them a lot but i think they don't have time for chatting because like us they are so busy also , that resting and sleep becomes a luxury already.

Hi Angel I never thought of Oprah that would be great too. You are so right there are many great people here already on my lot with many great solutions to many questions. Yes I was talking about a celebrity joining here, (all in fun of course) some have taken this question to a whole different level, which is fine too after all we are all entitled to our own opinion. I'm not famous - the most I did was to get a few short stories published in a book and some literary awards when I was younger. Oh, I did have a weekly column in a Sunday Newspaper for about 10 years BUT I have met and dealt with mnay famous people who come to the Villa that I manage. This is a part time job and the very wealthy and famous have come. Who would I like on Mylot? Not sure as I am not easily impressed by names. Someone funny but bright. Hmm. Let me see. A Will Smith? Definitely General Colin Powell. Ellen Degeneres? Oh there are so many ffom which to choose
