It says that my post was removed because of discussion violation?

How did that happen? Have you experienced this before? Yesterday, I just posted a discussion about the favorite book you've read since I would like to read for the following days. Is that bad? OH NO!

Maybe someone made a bad comment there and admins decided to delete it. Do not worry about that, just keep posting and enjoy what you are doing. I am sure that admins are really doing the best they can for all of us to have a fun and wholesome community.

OH, okay. Thank you so much! I thought I did something that's against the rules. :)

Discussions are NEVER removed because of responses or comments which violate the rules. They are only ever removed because the discussion itself is a violation.

If it was close to a poll type of discussion it will be deleted. If you worded it differently it probably would have been fine. But if it is a question/answer type instead of a discussion it will be deleted. Definitely check the guidelines again and the FAQ's! They will help so you will get less discussions of yours deleted. =) Don't worry, we have all been there.

I guess I really have to be careful and read the FAQ's. Thank you, I thought I did something really bad. :)

When a post (a discussion, response or comment) of yours is removed, you will receive a Notification from MyLot saying WHY it was removed. In your case, I suspect that it will say that it was a "poll type" discussion. READ the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx carefully several times so that you know what is not allowed here. "Poll type" discussions are one of the commonest mistakes that newcomers make. Anything which is just a simple question - "What is your favourite ...?", "A or B - which do you prefer?", "Do you like ...?" and similar things - is called a "poll type" question. MyLot is about good quality DISCUSSIONS, not about asking questions and getting answers.
