Is it just me, or does Starbucks have a certain feel to it that differs from any other coffee shop or meeting place? They always have those small, cozy tables to enjoy a beverage with a friend or sit quietly with your laptop. When I'm in Starbucks I feel like that's the only place in the world. You can easily get lost in the cozy atmosphere.

I take your point,it is true Starbucks let people stay in comfortable and it seems everyting in common in different Starbucks around the world.I think this is Starbuck's culture. However, sometime I like searching some new coffee shops.Every sigle coofee shop has its own story. I would like to spend my time to find some more interesting place to kill my time. Apparently, the decorations of each coffee shop are totally different, which is another feature attracting my attention.I am kind of person who need something fresh.

Yes, you are definitely right; each coffee shop is unique and has it's own story. I do enjoy going to other coffee shops, especially family owned ones. One definite way Starbucks differs from family owned shops is you are more likely to for sure have a pleasant experience with friendly baristas vs. Starbucks who hires all different people with different personalities. Other than that aspect, Starbucks is great!
