False 911 messages

don't you hate it when people leave you a message to call them, with 911 attached. then, when you call them it's about nothing but getting you on the phone for hours. this is what my SIL always does to me. she cries wolf so many times, it's hard to tell what's a real emergency and what' not....all to get me on the phone with her for hours. i don't have the kind of time she does. she has a kid, but she doesn't take care of it. her mom and boyfriend do. i am a REAL mom. arrgggg! this is one of my pet peeves. don't you hate it when people do that?!!!

The only trouble with crying wolf too many times as you well know is that one time they can be critically ill or something bad has really happened to them, and you just think they are making a mountain out of molehill and playing up. Some people think we should drop everything to listen to them or rush to their assistance. Part of it is selfishness, they expect you be there, so they think 911 will make you respond quicker to their needs!

i keep falling for it because she has my niece. i would be devastated to find out that something is wrong and she KNOWS that.

My family's already learned. You've got 3-5 minutes to get your point across to me then I'm hanging up the phone. You'd better make it count. I don't like sitting around talking on a phone. I can handle email just fine at least I can answer that when I have free time.
That's another pet peve I have, TEXT . Should someone text me they better be prepared to wait. I'll answer when it's convenient to me. If you get all pissy because I didn't immediatly respond then don't bother.

my ex sister in law used to do that to everyone. Only so they call her up. I caught on fast.
