You might be right that if she knows and does accept your son's behaviour it's kind of stupid. Still it doesn't matter she doesn't love or care about your son or doesn't need at some points/times someone to listen to her. Many people need to gather courage first before they are ready to start a new life on their own. BTW it's still your son you are talking about.. for some reason it gives me the idea you approve his behavour. I hope the child is not his.. and if so.. I hope she will find someone else, since a father like that is not a great example of how a father should be or how one should show respect. BTW... relationships do end but that doesn't mean you can cheat or you can just walk out without ending the relationship in a proper way. Ending it in a proper way also means: giving answers to all the questions your (ex) partner has. Clear is that mostly women do invest way more into a relationship as men do.

Personally I would be telling this gal, it is time to get a life and go find someone else who can treat her better and want to be with her because of her. Seems like this woman has some issues and needs to learn how to move on. Maybe once she learns this it will make things better for all of you. And why is she allowing your son to still live there?

It is on her plate not yours. If she doesn't like what is going on she knows what she can do. Isn't funny how they call us thinking we will make our sons change. My youngest sons ex-girlfriend called me one night about my son. Now my son and I had been talking on the phone for over an hour.He called me on my cell phone and this girl didn't know my cell phone number. After my son and I quit talking she calls me on my house phone hollaring and screaming about my son talking to another woman. I asked what the number was. She told me and I told her to call it. She was a wee bit surprised when I answered the phone. So I asked her if she had any more to say about my son talking to me.
