days were I couldn't answer even one discussion, nor make one!

You are not alone my princess . I also do that, I only answer to the discussions that I like or my mylot friends had created. When I don't have any much idea about the topic, I merely answer. Maybe I can answer a little but not as broad as the others would say. I think its only natural to have an idea or opinion about the discussion to have it more enjoyable and fun. When I do create discussion, I create only once I am in the mood or I like a certain topic which just recently happen or come out in my mind. I guess most of the mylotters to this type of method. But still I am learning something new everyday here in mylot. I learn some basic ideas and tips on how to write well and comment on certain topic. I also learn to use the mylot search more often, it has given more earnings as well. Whatever you do, mylot is a great site for discussing something which you know or you haven't known yet. There are a lot of members here which is knowledgeable and would really offer to help out. So just enjoy doing mylot everyday...

Hi, It is not important if you can't answer any discussion as long as you can hang out in here it is alright. I also go through the same phase, days I can't even post a single thread or answer to a discussion, my brain just dry out and ideas won't come. Posting anything in this state makes me look like a fool and, like you said, I could mislead someone by my crazy ideas or irresponsible postings.

Hey princess, i get what you mean. Sometimes i just do not have any ideas and there's nothing for me to write a new discussion. I usually scan through the titles of the discussion first before deciding if i'm interested in it or not.

Well, you're doing much better than I am... I only started about a hundred discussions and made over 2200 responses. I don't really consider starting a small number of topics as my weakness though; that is just how I roll here...

I do also answers the discussions that I am interested in or have an idea about it like you I am not active in making topics I ony do it if I have some ideas and information to share.. otherwise I will just replies to the discussions that caught my attention sometimes I barely respond to ten topics because aside from my time is limited due to my obligations as a stay at home sometimes its hard to find a topic that I have an idea on..

I want to answer all the discussions. but in some discussions there's nothing to answer. So, I skips those. I try to answer when I have even a little amount of knowledge of the subject, which sometimes get wrong and i have to say sorry. i never answers anything in which I don't have a slightest idea at all. That's good whatever you just said. I have started 20 discussions and answered 202 till now.

I have found that the best thing to do when I want to start a new discussion but have a hard time thinking of a topic to write on is to go to some news sites and read some articles. I can usually find something that makes me mad enough to make me want to write about it...

Even I do response those discussions which can be understand by me , although there are so many top discussion where many members participate but I do not as I do not have materials or content about that topic to discuss.

Thanks for sharing Because of health issues, my research work plus other academic activities i am not active here as before, more over there is problem with my internet, there are frequent power failures too; still than if i feel good and i am in mood i create discussions, respond and comment back on the responses.

Hi there ! I am the opposite of you . I can't let a day pass without joining any discussion . My day can't be completed. Even in a very hectic day , i still managed to drop some minutes in Mylot. It becomes a part of my daily routines.

I think it is easier to respond to discussion's because the topic you are going to write about is set for you,so not much thinking needed,just a honest view or opinion,I have started responding rather than starting discussions a lot more now as well.

in these days i am same,i cant start discussions,i dont have time and sometimes i dont know what to write soi i open discussions my friends started part,and give them responses, i also started less discussions but i respond to many people happy mylotting peace
