There are all kinds of shopping websites, and many people like to shop on line, because there are more availables, and more cheap even more convenient.Since Internet has spread all over the world, some shopping websites are even international, everyone from every country can buy things make in every country on such websites.Of course, shopping abroad is more complex, and have to take more risks.
Have you ever buy things abroad on international website? What do you think about it?If haven't,would you like to try it?

I have several successful transactions on online shopping, and had shopped at online international shopping stores.
The good thing about international shopping websites is that some of its items are unique and has not been sold in your locality; this means that you are buying an item that hasn’t yet released in your country. But the cons though, are the duration of the shipped item. Usually it takes time more or less weeks or maybe months until the item has been delivered at your doorstep.

I don't think I would mind, just afraid that something unsavory will come along in the mail like a virus, or bug. You just never know.

I have tried shopping on an international website and the experience was fine. The foreign exchange is bad though but since I really needed that I have no choice but to just close my eyes and hope it is worth it. And it is worth it. I guess I wouldn't try to do this in a website where there is hardly any translations or the product will come with instructions that I wouldn't be able to read.

It depends on what the final cost is. Mostly even cheap things become expensive with high shipping costs. I've never bought any physical goods from international sites but I did buy digital stuff like softwares and games.

Hai Dora.. This is an interesting topic. Buying things from abroad through international websites is less cumbersome and more convenient as compared to actual visits to the regions. But try not to become a victim of scam sites. Let us promote those legitimate sites in international marketing and try to bring the whole world under a screen....

Hello Dora. I have done a lot of online shopping and they are shopping websites from our country. All of the things I have bought are satisfactory to me, except the few. But I have not tried shopping websites outside China as they are more expensive when it is related to the shipment and also some restrictions on the mode of payment, which I do not have. Thanks.

As long as they do international shipping and aren't too expensive which it can be. I remember buying a t shirt from Europe with the name of a favorite band and it cost me $80.00. I like to look at clothing shops in the UK because they have better style than here in America. Many of them are too rich for my pockets though.

No I do not like to shop on any website even though it may be cheaper. I much prefer to go personally to the shops and malls and shop. It is rather romantic to go personally and do the shopping, to see the items myself, select myself and thus do the shopping.

Well I don't want to be paying anything above the actual price plus what I want is available in here then why would I need international shopping?

I have tried buying from ASOS,ebay and YesAsia. There was once my package from YesAsia was held by the custom. In the end I had to pay a lot more in tax in order to get back my things. Ever since then, I am careful about what I buy from overseas. Nowadays, I am buying a lot from China. To save on shipping, I usually buy extra and sell of the extra pieces.

Hi Dora, I think that shopping internationally is a good thing for certain items but fraught with problems.
I've never done it myself and probably never will, but my son often buys video games and things from the US while we live in England. Most of the time he seems to get a gooddeal, but I know he has been caught out by the zoning from time to time.
And that is just one of the problems. You have to ensure that the product works in your country, it's not illegal, it's not going to be out of date when you get it, the warrenty will be covered if it goes wrong and that's without making sure that it still works out cheaper.
The payment alone can bring up so many problems with exchange rates, overseas charges and extra shipping costs.
You have to seriously ask yourself just how much you really want the item and if it wouldn't be just as good getting a very similar thing from the local shop.

Hi Dora1009,
Yes, it is very convenient and exciting to be able to browse and shop online at the so many websites offering fantastic stuff. However, I must add a word of caution. Don't trust any or all the sites which you visit. Do your own due diligence and make sure that these aren't scam sites before you participate. It will be such a bother and disappointment if you were to be conned by them subsequently. Have a safe day.
