Here is an article on what the writers have in mind for "keeping" returning characters on General Hospital. I am SO glad Lucy COe is staying, I am SO MAD that Laura is staying and that Brenda is staying! What a pair of bimbos! Bobby, good grief she has been gone for some time with a cameo here and there and they are talking about making her next exit a big deal..probably make her quit her job at GH and run off with Noah Drake...they had a fling when he first came to the hospital years ago...probably have them two pair up and ride off into the sunset. Possibly Jax will come back...hope so..and get back with Carly. So..what do you think of the writers choices? Plus, it says the hoopla of returning characters/actors will last all year! Hopefully a fun year to come!

I'm glad Lucy is staying, but I was pretty sure she would be. Don't really care about Laura one way or the other. Bobbi hasn't been a part of the show in years. They didn't even really have her exit the show the first time. It was just one of those she was there and then she wasn't things. She deserves an actual exit this time though. I don't doubt that it will be her exiting with Noah Drake. Brenda annoys me to no end. Every time I might momentarily start to like her she does something to make me dislike her again. I sure hope they bring Jax back and put him back with Carly. I am actually quite excited over the returns. I am really into GH for the first time in a long time. I haven't even fast forwarded through anything lately. That's something. I think it's great that they're bringing all of these great characters back. The good and evil and the somewhere in between. Now they just need to bring back Robert! Of course they probably wont because of him knowing Robin is alive and they may be waiting to bring Robert back when Kimberly is ready to come back, but it's not like they can't just say he doesn't remember that part. I mean the man has been in a coma it's not like he couldn't forget anything.

I think Robert should have been there for the 50th. I mean his character is older than a good majority of the actors that are on there now. He should have been a part of it! I don't think it matters what writers and producer they bring in there is always going to be something we don't agree with. I mean they can't please everyone. We all have such different opinions on how things should go. I think they are doing their best to make the show interesting and it's definitely a step up from where the show was. I'm just not used to them ending stories so quickly. I remember when a story could play out for almost a year before they came to the conclusion. I'm not saying that the quick ending of a storyline is a bad thing, but I'm just not used to it. It's funny how sometimes the storyline seems to go so quickly and yet slowly at the same time. Sometimes I'll start thinking about a certain storyline and then realize it was only a year ago, but at the same time it feels like a lifetime ago. It's hard to say where they are going to go with the whole Cassadine thing. I haven't thought much about the whole Robin/Patrick/Sabrina thing. I don't mind it. I am used to that with soaps. I just like anything that's more original and less over done. Unfortunately soaps are all about over done, and it's just something I've learned to roll with. I watch a soap knowing pretty much how it's going to go and even though I get irritated with certain things I just try not to let myself get too bent out of shape over it I mean it's only a show although while I'm watching those people are real darn it! lol.

I would have loved to watch when the characters first came to town. It's not really about the mob anymore. I remember watching the old 80s episodes on youtube and watching like the snowman storyline which I loved. I mean there were the Carter's and the Jerome's. It made for good TV. I mean there was Olivia St.John/ Jerome. She was a frikin nut case, but as evil and psychotic as she was she definitely made a good villain at least in my opinion. I mean she was no Helena, but she was definitely someone you loved to hate. Then there was the Corinthos' and Zacarra's there for awhile, but well we see what happened to all of them lol. So I think with all of the Zacarra's gone Sonny doesn't have anyone to feud with. I don't mind Laura, but I just don't like her with Luke. I never understood the Luke and Laura phenomenon. I like Luke more now than I did when watching the re runs. I also find myself extremely irritated with Brenda! She just acts so uppity when she has no room to be. I think Jax is too good for her. I think we should just be happy Ingo is doing dancing with the stars other wise who knows what they would have done with those two!

I'm glad they broke up brenda and jax. I wish they'd put jax and carly back together. I don't understand the Luke nad Laura phenomenon either. Other than it was the break through of that kind of storyline...shot out of studio etc. I remember the JEromes...lucy coe was married to Julian Jerome for awhile! I don't remember the Carters, must h ave been while I was working and my VHS was broken! I am tired of the mob thing to....and they seem to be maybe writing it out..come on...here the king of the mobsters is...with tons of guards...yet ANYONE can just walk into his house without ringing the door bell or when they do ring it, HE answers it! Where is all his security if he is a mob king!!!Oh,,,they are doing a strip-teez! I think that once Jason left...the mob thing went right down hill...it was Jason that all but "ran" the business....Sonny never did anything but chase skirts! And I hope they write Brenda out ASAP!!! What a empty headed bimbo with no reason to be on the show!!!
