Accounting is said to be the art of recording, classifying and summarizing events in a significant manner and in terms of money. Most of the students in the accountancy stream tend to undergo degrees like BCOM, MBA,CA, CS,etc. Please share your opinion regarding the most appropriate course to be selected by a student who have a flair in accounting. Whether the degree or practical exposure is more important??

Hi there Gopika44! Welcome to Mylot! I think that both are important since you will be able to acquire the information or knowledge when you are studying, getting a degree which you will be able to apply on the practical exposure. That is why for most, on the job training is part of the curriculum when you are trying to get a degree so that you will be exposed to the actual use of the theories that you have learned in school.
