"what are those Samsung & Nokia made in China all about..?

Samsung and Nokia, and even other brands are already manufacturing their handsets and laptops in China because of cheap labor. parts and designs and technology of course are still with the headquarters.

Hi, Walking down the stalls in the public market in Cagayan de Oro City, PH, I see some of them on the sidewalks. Models like high end brands, they look alike but when you ask about the specifications, some features are missing that should be there. Like GPS, higher resolution camera and the durability is questionable too. Some buyers thought these imitation brands are made in China because they are mostly sold by Chinese and Muslim merchants, either on glass stalls or ambulant. They cost less too, which makes it attractive to average buyers who have to spend three months full pay in order to get the original models. In places where the standards are higher and the buying power of the workers is also high, these lower-end units do not sell much so some won't be seeing them in their respective places. The same phenomenon also applies to the amazement of some watch enthusiasts overseas who have observed that a USD200 watch can be faked and who is going to buy them when they cost that low. For some, two hundred grand may be a small amount but for a worker who has to work full time and earn that in two months, an imitation model costing only a quarter of that amount is the only thing he can afford. Same looks, lower amount and he is happy to go about wearing it thinking he could fool his co-workers it is the original one when it is not for those who are trained to spot the fake ones at a glance.

maybe it is more of the taboo nowadays. when a certain product is considered to be made in china, people have this mind setting that this is something of lesser value. but i have seen my phones made in China. it is still of good quality. if your mind is set that this particular product is good and is of quality, then your reasonings will go for it. hehe

It’s basically a Nokia or Samsung brand however, its manufacturing process was built in China so, all of its components such as spare parts etc. are made from China. It’s the same brand such as you can see from other Nokia or Samsung line-up however, the processing and the making of the phone itself is based on the country of China. Take Nokia Europe for example, some of its components are made and manufactured by European factory of the same brand. I hope this helps.

Not all made in China are fake or immitation, here in the Philippines there are a lot of made in China phones that is totally a immitation because the price is lower. You can see the difference of original made in China to fake made in China thru it's font and the price. The price of fake is low and the price of original is higher.

it is original even its made in china. they manufacture the finish product in china because they say china is good in man power thats why manufacturing in china is cheaper . but the materials are still imported and high quality. it doesnt mean if its made in china, its an imitation!

There is nothing much to get frightened,the nokia phone was manufactured in the china unit of Nokia company because of low labor cost and nothing more than that happened there.
