I believe that it is very much essential to rest for a while from school. I really do and that is why I decided not to take summer classes. I cannot take anymore the pressure from school. I am really hardworking when it comes to my studies. I will turn this summer into vacation time. I am not rushing to graduate since I am still enjoying my student life. Chapters in life cannot be replayed so I just really have to seize every moment of it.

Good for you! When I was still studying, I also had summer classes and it was mandatory. I can still remember those times when I was about to enroll for summer classes, I was so excited but when I already attending classes, I got bored especially you got nothing to do but study.

Maybe not at all, if you have your close friends around. I really did not find it boring to have them around. Maybe that is one of the factors that affected me of not taking summer class; because my friends did not take also.

I think that is a good choice too, that is what i have done ever since.. Since i am also a hard working student so i am usually busy all year long, so we definitely need a time to relax and take a break or else we'll be stressed out and go crazy.

"Chapters in life cannot be replayed so I just really have to seize every moment of it." I would like to quote you for this. Very nice. Since you want this summer to be memorable and enjoyable you should plan it well. Make it worth sharing and document so you have totally seize it.

Yes, i guess you are right.. A person cannot just study all year long, they will need break from time to time.. and summer is a long break from school hat every hardworking student should take. And after that 3 whole months, or maybe even 2.. it's back to burying your heads in books.

Sometime,s you really have to get of school or you have get have some sort of equivalent of a cabin fever. School's grate but you need it it in reasonable doses. you need to get out and do some things which can be academically or novel approach to things. besides, students physically and mentally can also suffer fatigue.

I’ve finished schooling already… though during my College days, I have never enrolled to summer classes. It’s because I feel responsible that I can bare the subjects on regular semesters.
And like you said, it is important that we venture some time to relax and unwind and summer season is a good month to rest and get away from the buzz of school.
Thanks for sharing.

What you decide is right, why hurry to graduate, just enjoy your life, and take it easy, there is time for studies and time for vacation. When i was in college, i only take 4 to 5 subject every semester and i don't to put my self into pressure because of studying.

I like to take summer classes because I am trying to get my degree as soon as possible so then I can start my dream job. I am transferring to a graduate school at the end of the summer and I really want to be able to get my bachelor's degree as soon as possible so that way I can hopefully no longer have to work at restaurants and other crappy jobs.

That is true kai. There's no need to rush finishing college. Enjoy every stage of your life.
Most of all, let your parents breath from having to pay for your tuition fees.

Yeah, that's true. When I am in school, I really work so hard. When I'm in college there are many subjects to learn, review for test, prepare this report and do this project. It's stressful. So during summer time, I don't need remedial classes or I don't even dare find a summer job because I just want to enjoy my vacation.

it is better to take a break so you can get back to school by june refreshed. it really is tiring sometimes even if it is summer vacation we are still in school and studying, we should take vacations and enjoy this time better, we all deserve it.

congratulations....
When I was in college I wanted to take summer classes, so that I will take advanced subjects, since I was a working student, and usually I was underload during regular terms. but then no one was allowed to take summer classes if there was no failure, duh??? as if I need to fail my subjects so that I can take summer classes... argh!

True to that! I didn't do summer during my early university years but have to take one for the OJT requirement. Go have fun. Having a break refreshes your body and mind from the routinary studying schedule. Doing rigorous activity or even meditation is a good way to distress.

I wanted to take summer classes because after all the summers that I have spent on almost nothing, I wanted to do something productive this summer. But my parents didn't allow me to enroll in summer class and told me not to take life too seriously. Although I didn't go to summer class, I still want to do something productive, so I decided to work on online jobs and to learn new skills all by myself.
