I would suggest you to update the content regularly and write blogs on the topics people are interested and this will helps you to get more visitors.

I am also having a hard time getting views on my blog. I just share my blog on some social networking sites such as facebook and list my blog on some blog listing websites with the same niche as my blog. Now I get some regular views to my blog mostly from the blog listing websites.

If you only want traffics - without considering quality in that, try to use free traffic exchange such as EasyHits4U or CashNHits. But if you want the quality traffics, maximize the usage of social media. Promote your site well on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, and such.

I am still very new on this kind of activity but I would always encounter advice from other groups that visiting other blogs could help aside from sharing our links on social networking site.
