My pc is on my desk with the modem next to it. I also keep my landline next to my monitor. I have hand sanitizer, a pencil holder, post it's, hard candy and my night time medication since I'm usually sitting here when it's time to take them. I also have a couple of small notepads for when I think of something I want to write about or keep my passwords on them. There's my Comcast bill that I paid and should be filed plus a couple of pens! I have to say it's a real mess. What is on your desk? Does it need to be straightened out and is a mess too?

The main desk is in the computer room and has the printer, and on one side, the papers for the printer and the other side, a box with the ink cartridge, staple remover, and various small items. I do most of my work on my laptop besides my piano and I have on the other side, my eye glass case, a flash drive, and a cd. Yesterday, I was starting to edit the cds I got from the church concerts that was not edited yet. Let me see, about twenty more songs or instrument pieces to take out the people walking out or moving the stands.

I have hardly room to put my feet and have to be careful about turning off the power bar. Did that once and wondered why I could not get on the internet.

a pleasant day to you,
with reference to your post, normally i do work having the basic thing on top such as what you have mentioned like computer monitor, the keyboard, landline telephone unit, a pen holder and some post-it note. as i am not comfortable to work if there are a lot of papers on top of my working table, as i can't concentrate more. although, there are times that some papers are really needed.

Hi Ctryhnny Well like you I have many things on my desk I have my computer I have a date book which has "notes of inspiration" that I like to read daily. I have many note pads I am forever jotting things down. I have an old Oak desk which is huge but it has many drawers (if someone comes over) they come in very handy. I have a black computer and it is right in front of a window so when the sun is shining it shows every piece of dust.
I really should have things more organized but I always seem to put it off.

I don't really have an office desk but I do have a desk in my room that used to be for my old desktop computer. Now I just have my savannah monitor in his aquarium on there and I also have it loaded up with books and bunch of other random stuff that I use daily such as my ipod and my cards and money and stuff. My alarm clock is also on there.

I used to have a desk, but I wasn't using it for that. I ended up using it as an alter in my room and I have candles all over it and precious items to me. My laptop I keep at my boyfriend's house and we keep it stacked with his and his son's laptops. When I want to use my laptop, I just pull it from the stack and start working on it. No desk needed. I do need to get a new laptop sometime soon, though.

To me, my desk looks fine. To my mom, it's a big mess! Laptop right in the middle of the table, modem next to it on the left and mouse on the right. Water bottles, hand sanitizer, coffee cup (it will always be there), notepads, pen, small speakers, cell phones, usbs, small drawer to keep things, and a lot of merchandises. I'm not going to mention what's in my drawer.

He he, how would I have to answer this? I don't have my own desk. When I am at home, I would use my daughter's study table and she would tell me to vacate it because she needs to study, then I will transfer to the dining table.
I can say as of this time, I can't find a perfect work place. I am planning to have my house repaired on the next few months. Maybe by that time, I will have my own workplace.
But at the office, I make sure that my table is clean especially when I get out of the place in the afternoon. We have filing cabinets for our documents. I also believe that having an organized table would help us work effectively.
Have a wonderful day!

My desk is a mess! For some reason, every time i fix it up it ends up getting messed up all over again. Then again, on second thought it may be my kitten who likes jumping all over the place.
My desk consist of my desktop, pencil box and a tissue box.
