A section of fans have the opinion that fight between Kohli and Gambhir was all drama and scripted.Such incidents increase the TV rating and IPL is all for entertainment. Are these fights scripted or heat of the moment ?

I believe that everything we watch on TV nowadays is scripted/set up for marketing purposes and make money off of people purposes. Even football and sports and stuff, i guess i am a heavy conspiracy theorist :) That's my opinion and im sticking to it!!! :p

That right ,create the hype to get the TV ratings.Actually if we see the clip of this video it looks totally fake. You are so right about this happening in football matches too.the money involved there is much more than it is in Cricket. Thanks a lot for your response.

Me too had that strong suspicion but I though it was just me has this feeling so it was bit of surprise for me to see others have also got that kind of a feeling. No way in a perfect world to have a confrontation with Kohli and Gambhir 'cause they play together for almost 3 teams and also if you look at that footage very carefully you can see that there wasn't a chance for a natural confrontation.

You are right ,many others have the same suspicion.Actually it looked totally fake,no one provoked Kohli as such, there was no verbal spat between those two players earlier. Also like you correctly pointed out that both these players play together in Ranji for Delhi, for North Zone and for team India. Thanks a lot for your response.

Well, we cannot believe what all is happening on television now a days. Yet my personal opinion is that these two individuals, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli are very competitive players with fighting qualities and can get quite heated up, so it can be a natural act too.

Personally, I feel that while Virat Kohli is a great player, he seems to have too much of an attitude and aggression even off field. But then, Gautam Gambhir too is not a saintly person. So, we cannot blame anyone not absolve one of these.

Yes Virat is passionate about the game and so is Gambhir. Both of them are good team players too.So its important that this tussle between them should not go too far and i hope both of them will forget about that. You see what happened to Australia when there was lack of unity. As we know cricket is a team game and friction between top players of the side effects the team in long run.I hope they will learn from Mcgrath and Hayden, they had lots of heated arguments in domestic competitions, they were never great friends but when they were on the field they used to support each other as mates, professionalism as we call it.Best wishes.

I agree that is the possibility,we all know Kohli was made the Vice Captain insteadof Gambhir and media made lot of hype about it.May be since then tensions started between these two. Thanks a lot for your response.
