We all know that a successful website is one which is both popular and makes a lot of money. But in order for the website to make money it needs to have a lot of visitors. And speaking of visitors, visitors are drawn by the type of content that the website hosts.
The final deal stands as: The content decides the fate of the website.
So whats your opinion on this statement, and what type of content would you choose if you were to make a website of your own?

The contest must be useful to people. This is the most important criteria. People use the internet to look for things, learn, find out about the things they do not know. In order for a website to be successful, it has to give what people need. Yes, I agree that content is king!

Right! content must be useful for the people. But for informative content, people mostly go to wikipedia. Which is a lose game for the regular blogs, no doubt updated regularly and with passion.

A content that you like the most - of course
Without any passion, you'll get bored easily and eventually give up. But if it's matching your interest and passion, you'll keep writing whatever the results come in
Most websites won't make money in their first three months or more. You have to be prepared

I agree, passion is important in making a website. Because the content of the website needs to be constantly updated. And without passion, its is even difficult to keep it running for the first one month. But sometimes, passion in not for the content alone but also for making money.
Which makes the target to become, "content that makes money". So does anyone have ideas of such content?
Thank you for the response. :)
