With the advent of social media platforms and online media content disseminated by various video sharing sites, there is no doubt that online viral videos are getting along from online to TV, Radio and other forms of media. Viral videos that spread over YouTube from “Call me maybe”, to the Korean craze “Gangnam”, to the urban dance “Harlem Shake” and the recent Korean-pop craze “Gwiyomi”. There is no doubt that people are hooked and tries to create their own version of such viral hits. It’s not bad to get influenced by such Pop-culture though the cons is that, it makes its viewers get the feeling that it is more of a line of novelty and spoof that eventually if listened or viewed a lot is sickening.
