i disagree if a man cries it shows he is weak or doing this is kinda bad. man is human, and could feel what a woman could feel as well. man can feel, get hurt, could feel happiness, sadness etc. so why is it bad for the man to cry; unless God did not created him with glands for crying.
and besides crying is good to ease what you feel or express happiness. as they said, if a person cannot cry, it means to say that he is weak. i agree with this, for a reason that he is evading what he feels more is he's hurt. true man is thus who can face the real problem and is not afraid to express what he feels, no matter what.
for me, if i can see my man cries because he is hurt or troubled and then he is not afraid to let it show to you, that would be cute and fascinating. why? man are supposedly a strong creature, a pillar and the emblem of firmness but it is cute to see that sometimes inspite of these characteristics, he needs someone to cry on and that he cannot live without someone to share his worries, happiness, or sadness - he shared all of it to the one he trusted that he serves as his confidante. a rare one! so you must be proud if your man cries in your front :)

Men are supposed to be looked at as having a very tough personality and they are not expected to cry. But I think it is fine to show their real emotions. Trying to control bad feelings may do harm than good. Why do you think that there are most men who die of hear attacks and hypertension than women?

That is how I interpret the reason for the men who has it more than women. Coz, we would often be told to talk to somebody if we feel like sharing our problems with. Coz it lessens the pain that we feel somehow.

. Oh I would rather see my husband cry than pretend not being hurt. I see it as a sign of strength and bravery because it will take a lot of courage for a man to cry. There is nothing wrong with crying. And I agree with you there isn't any rule that says men shouldn't cry. It is just what society has branded men that they don't cry because they are strong. But women don't see it like that. Show us your real feelings and we would appreciate you more.

Man is considered to be a strong human being be it physical, mental or emotional, but at the end of the day he is a normal human being who has feelings. There comes a time when he too gets saturated with emotions and needs to emit his emotional burden. Crying helps them to release their emotional encumbrance and gives them strength and courage to deal with new challenges, problems and fears with a fresh approach.

I don’t believe that once a Man cry he is associated as a week person. Although social norms puts a notion that Men are brave and is up to any circumstances, it’s not a pattern that all are experiencing.
Men have emotions just like Women do, it’s normal for a human being to cry and to burst what he is feeling. It’s an empathy that is innate in human. We all do cry, even from the time that we were born. We do cry, because we have glands that secretes tears.
So, the bottom line is it’s just normal.

We are created with emotions that's why when we experience empathy or some sort, we do tend to cry. It's a normal thing...

As males we are taught that it is not good to cry back in the playground in school. If we hurt ourselves playing some sport, we must "be strong" and not cry. But this is not healthy at all and most of us end up blocking the emotion. As a therapist I have had many men come to me with stress-related problems and it is all to do with the fact that they are emotionally blocked up and it effects their life and their health. We need to learn to cry again, and this way we can release our emotions and improve our health and well-being. Some men though I realize have been raised in an atmosphere where it is OK to cry and can cry when life presents itself with situations that seem to keep going wrong. I would say it is good when a man can cry, and have learned to do so myself, after a lifetime of being told ot "be brave and not cry!" _Derek

Although men seldom cry in front of people. Especially here we are used to tell boys that you can bleed but you can't cry. However, I don't think it is wrong for a man to cry. Men are also humans, and therefore they also have their feelings and emotions. It is no need to hide it. The scientists found that one reason why women have longer lives than men is because women can express their feelings freely, such as crying. It can release the stress. So if a man cries, I think it can be acceptable.

I don't mind if my man cries. He doesn't fall apart over the stupidest thing like I do. We were just watching a movie last night and I was crying while watching it. He wouldn't do that at all. But, if it was something serious he would cry. Like if I was hurt or something like that he would and I don't see anything wrong with that. I think the measure of a man is knowing when it is appropriate to cry. Leave the melting over stupid stuff to us women and our crazy hormones! Haha

For me, men who cries publicly or openly are the real ones.
Crying doesn't mean he is a weak person- but he is one of the most honest person.
Yes, seeing a man cry is not common- and that is the reason why I admire men who are not afraid to show their real emotions.
They're too honest to judge with.

Anyone who is emotional can cry, gender does not matter in this case.It all depends on which situation we are in.Crying is just another way to express your emotions, people cry when they are happy or sad.It alright for men to cry, its not a sign of weakness at all.Best wishes.

Hi,
I don't think that when man cries he is weak. But woman are more sensitive than men so they cry easily when they are sad. But men are emotionally strong by nature. But when they have limitless sorrows they also cry. If they lost their closed one they cry. So when men cry it is not bad.

If a man cries he is just being true to his emotion and self.. as a human being crying is just a way for us to show how we feel whether its a happy or sad moment regardless of the gender.. I have seen my husband cry so many times..he cried when we had a fight and almost break up when we are still boyfriend and girlfriend back then.. he cried also when he he was suprised by the gift I gave him last christmas because he was touched and for that I admire my husband for being true to his self..

I think it is only natural that men cry. It shows that they are human and have feelings. I might not like it if he cried all the time though. I don't cry very often and I am a woman. If I had a man that cried more than me I would think there was something wrong with him.

I really do believe that when men cries, it tells us how sincere he is the that thing he is crying on. I also find those men very courageous compared to those machos who treats themselves as true men just because of their physical appearances.

Man can cry if they hurt by someone else.

I don't think it means that he is weak. It just shows that he was really serious about the thing that went wrong. But that doesn't mean that the men who don't cry are not serious at all or they don't care about anything. People have different ways of expressing grief or pain. Crying is one of them.
