Whats your thought on vegetarian's concept that when they say it is cruel to kill an animal for our pleasure. If they say that they do not like meat, its fine but when they say that we non-vegetarians are cruel, its really pathetic. We all know that we have been provided with some animals to eat by God.
Whats your view on this

Hi,
You are right. We have been provided with some animals to eat by God. I am vegetarian. But I don't think that non vegetarian are cruel. If all the people are vegetarian then there would be no plants to eat to all human beings. So for keeping balance in living animals some people should be non vegetation. Vegetarian people also depend on the plants who have life. Thus all living animals are dependent on living things for their food.

If all humans would be vegetarian there would be no plants to eat is a logic of a 6 years old child. Pretty much all humans eat vegetables already so it wouldn't be too hard to adapt and grow some more. And if God created animals for humans to eat, why aren't they all eatable? Why did he create mosquitoes?

Yes, we were never provided with any animals for food by God. I'm not sure which religion you follow, but I can argue that God in fact forbids us to eat animal flesh in every Holy Scripture of all the world's religions. From a Jeudo-Christian perspective, for example, in the book of Genesis, God created animals to be our friends & companions & gave us every kind of plant for our food. The statements in there that say "God said we can eat meat" were written in there by the Levitical Priesthood who profited mightily from charging a fee to slaughter animals at the Temple.
I'm interested to hear your arguement as to why you believe that this arguement of vegetarians on cruelty is pathetic. We must really think about what we are eating & not just do things out of habit.

"its fine but when they say that we non-vegetarians are cruel, its really pathetic."
How is that pathetic? Even if you believe that God put animals on earth for humans to eat, you still can't deny it's cruel to kill. I mean they feel pain and they usually live in horrible conditions, how is it not cruel?

I like meat, but I don't like seeing anything get killed, even for food; so it's best my meat be already cut, wrapped, and in the grocery store for me to buy and eat it. As far as the vegetarians go, I have no problem with them as long as they respect my right to eat as I want.

With all due respect for each vegetarian, I would think that does not mean that we are dealing meat we cruel hearts, God created to us these animals and birds to eat, and has forbidden us eat some, such as meat pork for wisdom , scientists have discovered that the meat pork cause a lot of diseases, it eat craps.
God said in the Holy Quran :
[2-168] " People, eat of what is lawful and good on the earth and do not walk in satan's footsteps, because he is for you a clear enemy,
[5-87:88] "Believers, do not forbid the good things that Allah has made lawful to you. Do not transgress; Allah does not love the transgressors.
Eat of the lawful and good things with which Allah has provided you. Have fear of Allah in whom you believe."
[ 6-142]" And of the cattle, some are for carrying burdens, and others for slaughter. Eat of that which Allah has provided you with and do not follow in satan's footsteps; he is your open enemy."
why we forbid the good things that Allah has made lawful to us?

I think people are vegetarians for various reasons, one of which is often health. I was a vegetarian for 2 years a long time ago, and I always respect people's decisions based on a sincere faith, or other valid reasons (e.g.: better health)
Plants are more sensitive than we often give them credit for, so killing a plant or animal, from one point of view, is only a matter of degree. As others have said, I believe that God has provided the full range of life to nourish human life, and it's part of the natural order that living things eat others, and are in turn eaten.

All I can say is to respect their view. But, it's not wrong to eat meat. In fact I'm a meat lover. God, commanded not to eat during the old testament because it can make people weak. Eating too much of this can bring diseases. I also heard it will take three months to totally digest it inside our body.
