Gwiyomi in Korean basically means "cute" I don't find the song irritating though i find those who covers such Korean craze annoying. most especially those who just mimic what's been hyped over the internet not knowing that they eventually do not know anything about K-pop culture or even the lyrics.

I also don't know the meaning of every word on that song. But I think it's cute and it's very catchy that's why many people are going crazy about it. when the words of the lyrics are said repeatedly, no matter what language it is, It's always catchy.
