I am just curious on how trustful could one mylotter be to his/her fellow mylotter who has many posts here and having a high ranking account. Let's say a certain member here who have lots of posts and is a high ranking member would ask to borrow money from you through paypal, would you lend him/her some money and give your trust or not?

If its really a friend or really need of that I don't mind to lending some. Its hard to trust but its also hard to just ignore what you can do to others. I don't mean I have some money to lend but when I know its really touch my heart either he/she is taking me for granted its no longer my fault. At least I help if its true at least I did my best for them if its a lie then I won't say anything further more to that. God will do the rest to both party. If you know what I mean..Either God will give me back what I lend or God will ask them to pay for what they done.

I don't think it is right to borrow money from anybody. We all know that we are working hard in order to earn some amount online. Similarly, we should not lend money to anybody that we only knew online.
Have a nice day!

I'm not sure I would give money to anyone here except for my brother. I've seen people here post the email address of anyone who is nice enough to give money to them. No thanks. I don't want my email spammed with people begging for money just because someone has an odd way of showing gratitude.

Wow and that is a lot money too. If you know you can't pay someone back then you shouldn't borrow. Too many people do it anyway.

Hi,
It is outside the tenets of the reason for being here. This is not a lending institution or company, this is a discussion forum and things that involve money is not a part of it. It is up to the individual to look after his or her finances as far as online transaction is concerned. One can do it here or outside of here and this site may be held accountable for the mishaps that may transpire in the process. It is a personal accountability in my humble opinion.

You know you can trust me enough for lending me money. I am a Nigerian prince who have $1,000,000,0000 on my foreign account, and I am ready to transfer it to you.
No, I won't trust strangers on internet so easily. Activity points doesn't show the trustworthiness. I won't lend anyone money before at least I have met him in person.

if i have plenty of money, i would lend them to some of my relatives who have been requesting me for a loan, not to those people who i haven't even met personally. it's not that i don't trust them but because i've been asked help by many people and i need to prioritize.

I would not trust a fellow Mylotter. There are a few here, that I talk to other than here, and if I knew they were really in trouble, I might try to help. I would not lend them money, but might send them a gift card or something to try and help them, but only to ones that I actually have became friends with other than here.

You are the one who can decide for that, if you trust enough the person. But for me, i will have a second thought about that kind of thing, one question in mind is, for how many people here in Mylot why you? All i can say is just be careful and always think deeply.

Even if I don't have money to lend to other mylotters, I still want to participate in this discussion and share my opinion on this matter. I am not saying that I don't trust mylotters or that mylotters can't be trusted, I'm a mylotter too. But I won't lend money to someone whom I just met on the internet even if he/she has a high ranking on this website. Yes the ranking here doesn't connect to being a trustworthy mylotter. It is just based on the activity of one person here and lending money is kind of a big matter since everyone on mylot is here for that reason. To earn some extra cash.

One of my friends decided to help an online friend who wanted to borrow some money and her online friend paid her back in a few weeks. Some online friends are honest do pay people back like my friend experienced...but I still think that is very risky to lend online friends money. You don't know them in person and you don't know for sure if you can trust them or not. Offline there are also people who borrow money and never pay you back, but I think that is more risky to lend an online friend money because he or she could simply disappear with the money. That could happen even if the person had been a member of Mylot for a very long time.

Having many posts here doesn`t mean the person will pay quicker or pay at all if you lend money. I do not lend money except fot my closest people in the world. They are counted with one hand.

With the society now, where more and more people are taking advantage of the other, doing anything for their own sake, one must not easily trust anybody especially strangers. There are people who make lies just to get the sympathy of other people, and they actually get victims, so for those people who are very kind-hearted, I just want to say beware. But still, there are people whom you can really trust, especially those whom you know very well personally. Have a good day and happy mylotting!

I wouldn't but it will be your call in the end. If you did lend it out do not be surprised if you do not get it back, if you do that is a good thing. You could always pray on it and see how you are moved as well.

To be honest, I have no money to lend. In fact,I want money now. But even if I had money to lend to someone, I would think hundred times before lending it to a person who I know only by their username that may not be their real name. Many members in Mylot don't disclose even their country.None of my own friends knows me by my real name. Else22 is my username here.We don't know anything about each other. In spite of being friends on this platform,we are no more than strangers to each other. So no question of lending money arises.
