"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even has a chance to get its pants on". ~Sir Winston Churchill~
Isn't this so true?! Once a lie is told it seems to travel at the speed of light, they turn into rumors that spread like wildfire. It's so much better for us all to be truthful. Lies often hurt people, and put a damper on the relationships of one's closest them. Before we go around "having fun" or "just joking around", we must keep in mind how quickly a lie travels weather we meant it to do so or not. Something that works well for me on more than one aspect of life is asking myself *what if someone did this or said this to me or about me*?

Hi,
You are right. Once a lie is told it seems to travel at the speed of light, they turn into rumors that spread like wildfire. Thus lie has a speed but truth has endurance. When we tell lie we have to remember each and every word we said because we have the fear of disclosing of lie. But while telling truth we don't have any fear.
