Hey guys, i have many of my friends who keep changing their cell phones every now n then and once they get to know about a new cellphone u can see a new one in their hands the other day, i mean yes that is really cool to have new gadgets in your hand but that sounds crazy to change a gadget every now n then,
Yes changing something after 5-6 months is perfectly fine but i think changing very frequently might prove costly for them as they might have to sell their old cell phones at a lesser price which might disappoint them. i would also like to change my cell phone every 6 months only if the new one is worth it.
What are your thoughts about this? Do u like to change your cell phones frequently or u r still using your old cell phone? How long have u been using your cell phone? Please do leave your thoughts?

And that's what I call, BAD INVESTMENT. These mobile phone companies are making a fool out of those people who are such "gadget addicts." I think it is their best marketing strategy that never fails. But if a person has a family and would still be buying mobile phones that often, it is no longer practical. Purely waste of money.

Exactly! How many of these people truly make use of the different applications and features of their phones? I know some who would be buying the latest gadgets just so they are "in" but honestly, they really do not make use of it that much.

You could just imagine the waste of money that some people do. They should just buy the ones that are really helpful to them inexpensively. My husband is still using a gazillion years old mobile phone. I told him I would buy him a new one but her refused coz he said that all he needed in a cellphone was to make a call and be able to send SMS. Other than that, he has no interest at all. GOOD! Then that just saved me a lot!

Yes u are right, i know such people who can just show off their cell phones but if u ask them to explain the apps present in their cell phones then they would show us a confused face, ha ha ha, what is the use to own a gadget if u do not know knitty gritty of it. Mere show off to the world and nothing else.

Yeah that sounds better and as u have mentioned we should get a new one only if its required, like in case it has broken down or is having any issues so that we can replace it with a new one but getting a new cell phone very frequently is a very bad idea as it only leads to wastage of money and nothing else.

Actually, every year or two year I may change my cell phones, which my mom still think it is too creazy.lol,I think your friends are rich enough to pay for new phoneS.Nowadays, from my view, the smart phones are getting similar, such as IPHONE,SONNY,GLAX&NOTE 2.I will defintely change my phone when it is broken, otherwise,I do not have such a excuse to buy a new one. Cell phone is just a tool to make our lives more convenient, but someone may think it is a conspicuous comsuption which may present their social status.Anyway, as far as they are enough money, they can do whatever they want.

Yes you are absolutely right, many people think that if they possess more numbers of cell phones or change it more frequently then it would reflect their social status and would get them in the eyes of the people, but very honestly how can a simple electronic gadget display one's social status. I think it is all about aping others that people have started to get everything new.
