The Definition of Love

This is my favorite definition of love, flawlessly written by Tedd Dekker (an amazing author of many mystery thriller books) in his book Showdown:
"Love is the purest expression of selflessness. It is the desire to please at the expense of one's own sense of need. It's looking for another to betray their desire so you can fulfill it". ~Tedd Dekker~
This beautiful description of love makes my heart melt every time I read it.

I like this quote. It is really amazing. I think the author is having a deep insight about love, so only he provide this great definition. For me love means look, observe, verify and elect. We must observe and verify the persons activities and attitude to select the proper person.
