I will not buy expensive wallet or expensive anything for that matter... I am more into practical things and have never been interested for expensive branded items. I am more proud of myself when I can save more money rather than when I am seen carrying around some expensive things.

I prefer to spend money on things more important than a wallet. Just me I guess.

I have an ex sister in law. She once paid 300.00 for a purse. Then 2 days later she needed money to buy food..

Hello You Less. I am not bothered buying a brand name purse or wallet. I like to have a cheap price. I think I got my purse at my local inside market. A reasonable and affordable price is essential for me. It is important the purse or the wallet is made from vegan friendly materials. Soon I will be looking to buy a new hand bag.

I always buy leather items from specialist manufacturers(be it shoes, belts, wallets) and not from merchants who merely have their corporate identity stamped on them.

Well, I will accept a gift branded wallet but like you i would not buy branded wallet because for me it will just be a luxury. Yeah it is better to put more cash in there rather having a branded wallet but no enough money to put in there. lol

I wouldn't buy an expensive wallet either. I can think of a lot of places I can use the money and not on wallet or purses.

Same thing here youless, it's important that you have money in your wallet. I can't do the same too, buy expensive wallet since I am going to buy first what my baby needs before I can just spend something for myself.
Yes, most wallets are the same. It does not matter how much they cost, what is important is if they function just the same, hold our money and get it secured like placing our cards all in one piece.

No, I won't buy an expensive one either.
As long as it is nice, cute and the color matters to me- even if it is the cheapest, I will buy one.

I prefer buying things with reasonable prices. However, yesterday, I saw this branded wallet that I really liked. Before, what I would have done was to buy the wallet on the spot and charge it on my credit card. But, I have been wiser since then, so, since I really like the wallet, I'm saving up for it. For a working girl, I think that it is nice to have a nice wallet. Well, it "houses" your money so maybe it would be a good idea to have a nice one. Of course it would still depend on how much you could really afford. It's not practical to buy an expensive one when you don't have much money. It would turn out that you would have an expensive wallet that does not have much money in it.

A very nice wallet and why not an expensive wallet? Is there a lucky wallet? I go with the design.

I will not spend much for a wallet,I seldom use my wallet so I think buying an expensive wallet is not a good idea for me.But I purchase a quiet expensive wallet for my wife for gift, its one of her favorite stuff so I cannot just give her a cheap wallet.lol.

I do not use wallet. However, I bought a little hand bag that only cost me USD3 where I could put all my important stuff inside this little hand bag .
I would organized my things before keeping them in my small little hand bag:
. various cards in an aluminium casin.
. coins in a small little coin box.
. money notes in a small little hand phone bag ( made of soft cloth)
. and other items like keys...etc
it is very handy and not difficult to retrieve the things I want

I don't really use wallets and prefer to just keep my things in my pocket. My girlfriend bought me a wallet a while ago and I still don't use it for some reason. I guess I just don't like how bulky a wallet is in your pocket. I probably should carry a wallet though because I often forget my cards and my money at home.

I usually buy branded wallets because they last long BUT I would always wait for a sale or discount before I would actually buy one. In the place I used to live, there's a place where there are warehouses and they usually give discounts. You can actually buy the items for almost 70% discount.
The most expensive wallet I had was not actually bought by me but was given as a gift from a friend from the US. I don't think I can buy it either even if it is on sale.

Hi for me a while back a bought a nice zipper men wallet
at sears. for $10.00, that use to sell for $75.00.some one stole it from my pocket.
there was nothing in it for the crooks .
but it tooks me 2 year to find other zipper
wallet.this zipper wallet retail for $25.00 men
and is made in my home state and county,if macy sear etc
had the same wallet it would go for $100.
I think the owners are scare to expand.they make pocket books
to rarley do you find anything made in USA any more.
it just a husband and wife team.i told if they talk to some of the big
retai that do buy local, they most likey would get a grant
and tax breaks, there even a place in my area that make curtain
that sell over seas. I told 2 nice people they probly could sub contract
which still will keep prices low, and hire some local poeple to make the wallet, and all other leather products they have.

I recently bought a minifilofax raspberry chameleon and loving it. It doubles up as a take-everywhere notebook. Then my lot pointed me to your post, so this late reply. Hope you still find it relevant. Till another time.
