I know that the maker's of motorcycle suggest a person be atleast six years old before riding. My son has been riding for more then a year and he is five now. I was just wondering if any other parent out there has allowed their child to ride at such a young age.

I'm not sure if I would let mine ride at that age unless his father or I were there with him to keep an eye on him ya know.

We are with him when he ride's. Unfortunately, his father was watching him riding and watched him as he flipped the quad onto himself and broke his arm. When we took him to the hospital and found out that he needed surgery..we had to comfort my husband instead of my son. My husband was in tears and my son was like "whatever, can I have a sticker now" Thanks for your response
