a pleasant day mrexcellence,
with regard to your post, well, i am proud to say that i do loved every job that i handle. hence, for me it is a ministry that i need to handle well. though there are ups and downs in it but still i keep it as my task and responsibility. and i will be accountable to God Almighty if i will not work for it properly. but, there are times, no matter how i have tried to work for it properly, if the officers that handles the organization cannot appreciate what you have done. just like the president that i have met in my last offline job, as he doesn't know how to listen to his staff. all he wants was to listen to himself. and nobody is right and proper except him. in this regard, if you were on this situation where your boss is the president, would you still stay to prove that you love your job? this is absurd!

Hi,
I am retired person. When I was working I know my responsibility of job. I could not love that job because my boss was very arrogant and rude. But I used to try to complete my work in time. So also he was always dissatisfied with my job. I was appreciated by other people. So he was jealous about me. I left the job before the age of retirement because of the bossing. If you love your job you can work effectively.

Hi
I hope now you are enjoying your retirement. From your reply to my discussion, though brief, I could take out the meaning that one determinant of job satisfaction is the relationship with colleagues - that is how others behave towards you, especially your boss. But I think we, as employees, we can exert leadership skills to change things around us - for example, power to say NO, being yourself, etc. But you don't need to worry now as you are already retired. Just make the most of your retirement.

I totally agree with you. It is not easy at all to have the so-called dream job in this modern world of work. We must remain once we secure a job. Network engineer is an enriching one indeed. All the best!

I love my current job, I am a project officer, and main job is holding the international conference in China.
by my job, I have chance to communicate with people from all over the world, and also I have chance to go abroad to know more and more unknown places and to feel the greatness of God.
But yesterday, I have just heard that my organization may be disincorporate, I feel a little upset, and the main leaders will have seeked their own places. I don't know where will I go at the moment.
Anyway, I like my job. regards!
