You Need Two Blogs

As a rule, you need to have two blogs. I call it the Gemini principle. One blog is acting as a landing page for the other. The reason for this is analytics. You want to have a record of the traffic. By having two blogs, your analytics can track where the traffic is coming from. From my observations, direct traffic, the one where you type the URL directly into the browser, is not being tallied by the search engine or the analytics software. If you don't want to maintain two blogs, you can just use one of your profile pages as an entry to your blog. At least, that way, your stats go up.
