I was shocked to read the news report about the blast that occurred near the finish line in Boston Marathon. It seems there were two blasts and they occurred three hours after the winners have crossed the finish line. Two people were killed and more than 100 injured. very sad. what extra pleasure do they get by doing this. what will happen the families of the people who died unexpectedly.
No religion advocates such unannounced violence. sad

I first heard it from my office friend. After that, I immediately search the web for any update on the news. And their it was, It was really shocking. Kill 2 people and 130 were injured, some lost their limbs and other body parts. The authorities are still searching for possible clues on what this bombing was all about, their main target is about terrorism. Hopefully they can find out soon who did it. I share this fox news link for everyone to read: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/15/explosion-reported-near-finish-line-boston-marathon-spokesman-says/

It sadden me because I am a runner too. I join fun run to have fun and to share some community organizations that help other people that are in need. This incident will surely bring a big impact in the running community. Many people will surely doubt now joining any race.

Like everyone else I feel unspeakable remorse for the ones that lost their lives and for the families too. A lot of people are very evil and for some twisted reason they think that by doing these evil doings will get them that 15 sec of fame....it's sick to even think of that. My prayers go out to their families

the people who commit this cannot get fame also directly. they have to do these things hiding themselves behind the screen. The get sadistic pleasure out of this. such people should be punished after identifying the real culprit.

This morning when I opened the website, this terrible news jumped into my view. I was greatly shocked at this news and looked at those pictures. It was awful and scary. I am wondering what was the reason behind and wish the police would soon find out why and punish those who made this bomb blast. It made us feel insecure in some of the large-scale activities like this. Violence should be forbidden and everything should be checked before holding activities like this out of safety.

thanks for the response. Violence continues steadily and there is no end to it. The result of this is disastrous life for the people affected. Let the police find out early and solve this. This has happened in USA inspite of a watchful police.

This is something that has me absolutely sickened. I mean I don't know what kind of pleasure that anyone would ever get by killing and maiming a lot of innocent people. It is just not right. I know that at this point in time those that are guilty of planting these bombs have not been identified, but I do hope that it will come out who was responsible for this act of terrorism will be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Very sad indeed. So heartbreaking. There were so many children among them. Innocent victims.
I don't understand that feeling which makes a person want to hurt another person.
It is so saddening.

Mindsalad:
welcome to mylot. Yes. I understand a good number of children have been wounded/hurt on account of this. This only makes it a point we should not go places which are crowded --like cinema theatre, sports stadium etc.
