I am new to Mylot

Welcome to MyLot. The first thing to do is to read and understand the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx so that you know what is good and what is not. You will earn for everything that YOU type and the better the quality, the better you will earn. MyLot is a discussion site and you can earn by responding to other people's discussions, starting your own and commenting on people's responses. Remember that a discussion is like a conversation. It doesn't go very far if you don't reply to the people who respond in your discussion and 'good quality' means posting something in reply which furthers the discussion. If you want to understand how MyLot calculates earnings, you should read the FAQs on "Earnings and Payment Information": http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx However, it is best not to worry about your earnings but to concentrate on giving the best quality that you can in your participation. You will soon begin to understand how it works! Do NOT believe people who tell you that you earn 'x cents per post'. MyLot doesn't work like that. You are paid according to the quality of your participation over 24 hours and the earnings are updated, usually, the following day (occasionally it takes longer).
