Just got my bills already for the water and electricity. i am not surprised anymore that our consumptions are higher than the previous months. Those months, kids were spending most of their time at school. The house seemed to be empty the whole day so that only meant that no one was using the electricity nor the water and the internet connection.
Now that they are staying for the straight 2 whole months at home, I expect that its not only those bills which will rocketing high but as well as the supplies at home.
Do you have the same observation as I do?

Our bills are like twice or thrice the ones before .

Yes, I can see how the cost of living would be higher. I've noticed when the kids are home, grocery bills go up obviously but also entertainment cost. Since the kids are out of school and home more, we like to spend more family time going out and doing things. This means more money to be spent.

That is true, more expenses to expect during summer that kids are at home and they will really have to play and get online plus the electric fan running because it is really hot. But it is still great since your complete as a family and you can do a lot of fun activities that does not need electricity at all.

Yes, definitely... since most of the times the kids are in school, lie 8-10 hours daily.. all they do at home is just eat and sleep and maybe watch tv or something. Not like in the summer or other vacations, since some of them just spend all day using appliances.

Well I am part of those children who are spending and consuming a lot of supplies and electricity. During school days, I am not in our house and lives afar. But today is summer and most of the time, I am just watching tv here in our house or surfing the internet.
