Scientific facts in bible?

many people say that there are scietific facts in the Bible. So, it has to be the word of God.
Actually, whatever scientif facts there in Bible were facts which were known to the people of the time. Israel wasnear to the sumerian kingdom. The sumeria was well developed and lots of wcintific knowledge.
Is there any page in the Bible where it mentions, refrigerator, television, airplane,instant cofee,vacuum cleaner, telephone, neon lamps,movie, camera, rocket, gas masks,lie detector, quartz clock etc..
Why are none of these mentiones/
The answer is simple. none of these things were known by people of that time.

None of those things have anything to do with the Bible's subject. The Bible is about the fall of man and God's plan of salvation through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. It's not a science text book.

But the Bible does say, when other nations thought the world was flat and supported on the back of Atlas, an elephant or a turtle, "the sun does its circuit" (circle) "each day".. And something about everything (the universe) hanging on nothing.. I'm actually sure there's more too, but I gotta run along..

So many times people twist and twist to make things fit their view. People create beliefs from this, then hold onto them for dear life. It is refreshing to see someone place simple Facts into the open for everyone to see. If one really desires the truth instead of beliefs, one can not ignore Facts. NICE DISCUSSION!!!

I don't know any Scientific facts in bible, but there are Scientific absurdities in the Bible.
Ecclesiastes 1:5 (NIV)
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.
the verse clearly says that the Sun revolves around the earth, which is not true.
if you are willing to read Scientific facts in a Sacred Book, the Holy Qur'an is your direction.

Isa 40;31 was a prediction, I think, about being able to fly like an eagle.
Dan. 12:4 speaks of knowledge increasing and men running to and fro.
