hey guys, today a massive earthquake rocked Middle East and India. i got to know that nearly 30 to 35 people lost their lives and no casualties have been reported in India yet. Besides it was terrifying to see people coming out from their homes and offices when the tremors were felt for three times, thankfully nothing happened to the people of India but my heart goes to the people of Khash, the epicenter of this quake where nearly 30 people lost their lives and i m sure many more families must be devastated due to this. It is being heard that all communications in Khash and Middle East have been badly affected due to the quakes.
in fact the geologists have warned everyone of more such tremors in the coming days, personally i have experienced the tremors and hopefully would never like to experience also, but i have heard that everything shakes which is very scary.
What r your thoughts about this guys? Have u ever felt the tremors? Plz do share your thoughts with us!

Well,i know how you felt.Personally, i never wanted to be part of tremors and things like that and i felt India especially down south is less prone to quakes until last year.Last year, i felt the tremors which was felt across the country.I was working in office on my laptop.Suddenly i could feel a shake and sort of tremble and i was looking sideways to see if its something my teammate is doing on the other side of the table. But nothing was there. It lasted less than a minute and i also felt like falling from the chair. After a few minutes, had another one which lasted over a minute. Many felt it although all were minor. All were evacuated from office for 15 minutes and after seeing things were fine, all reported back to office.I even send tweets to ndtv about same and it was published in the site as well.It was kind of experience and worse this was minor.I am worried about major and how people around south east asia are living in those conditions.Well, its kind of tough living in such scary conditions as well. With prayers in my heart, hope such things never happen for a long time.We should find some way of controlling these earthquakes or at least eh damage part of it.Thanks!

Yes u are absolutely right, i can imagine how tough it would be for those people who would have experienced tremors of higher magnitude as they would be running here and there to save their lives, besides it was very scary to hear about your experience and u did the right thing by evacuating your office otherwise casualties would have been reported. Yeah u mentioned it correct, south India is less prone to tremors.

Nice to know that you're okay. Yeah I have felt earthquakes 4 or 5 times, but none of them above 5 richter scale. Some of it is a terrible experience because I was in my house in the second floor when that happened. Others happened when I was outside, in my garden, I really don't want to experience that next time.

oh yes thankfully the tremors did not happen in our place but then i felt very bad to hear about those who experienced the tremors. i am glad that u never experienced quakes of destructive magnitude. In fact i know u must have got nervous and terrified as u were in second floor as others would have come out of the building at that time.

When I lived in California I experienced a couple of earthquakes but they weren't that bad. Now that I'm back in Boston we don't really have them but have experienced tiny ones that you didn't even feel. I feel so bad for those people who lost their lifes. Such a waste!

well i am glad to hear that the ones that u have experienced in the past were not devastating ones, besides there are certain places which are not prone to earthquakes so those places rarely experience any quakes or tremors, Besides as u have mentioned even i feel bad for those people as they might not be knowing about the disaster awaiting them.

Oh my god, it sounds scary and i know how u must have felt at that point of time, it is very scary to watch the videos of quakes and it would have been terrible if u experience it yourself, besides i am glad that nothing happened to you as tremors might be destructive at times, even i pray that u never experience tremors in the future.
