Earning $100 a day with your writings

I started a discussion here several days ago about how to earn $100 a day. I remember receiving an email from iWriter a few months ago stating that I could make $100 a day or over $36,500 a year writing articles with their site.
They’re using a new program called “iwriter fast track program.” This program is for writers who are good at their craft but don’t want to spend countless days writing articles for little money and waiting for clients to rate thirty of their articles, so that they can be promoted to the next writing level.
This new process can promote a writer to Premium or Elite writer in as little as one day. The catch is that you would have to pay iwriter $147 as an application fee to be evaluated for their iwriter fast track program.
You will have to write three articles for the evaluation. Once your articles are submitted iwriter will let you know if your writings are good enough to promote you to Premium or Elite writer. Do you think this is a good idea? At least it’s a way to earn a c-note a day.

Sounds fishy! Pay $147 from pocket to get your skills evaluated. Not that good deal and if I were you, I would never risk my money. They should be the one who should be paying you for your skills developed by hardwork. Writing is not a skill everyone has and you must not be disappointed by what others tell about you. Believe in your skills and march forward. Look for other oppurtunities. Success comes to those who dare and act!

ellyse2003 I have try to contact the owner of the writing site I mention earlier but I think the site could be scam site I found the author writing instructions full of grammar errors and the instructions didn't state what countries could write for the site. I'm glad I didn't give out this website address.
It's been about 5 days since I sent an email to the site and so far I haven't received an answer yet. I don't think I will ever get an answer.
like they say to good to be true! if anyone would like to take a chance with this iffy writing site just PM me and I will send you the link. I won't post this site in a discussion unless I get and answer from this website.

I write for iWriter too, but whenever I have free time. It's just additional earning for me since I still have several employers who give me a regular writing job.
I never heard of that fast track program. Nevertheless, I think it's too risky to pay a big amount when there's no assurance that you will be promoted. But if you think your writing skills are exceptional and you would want to bet on it, then why not give it a try :)
But personally, I don't buy the idea. And I'm not into paying something that big with no assurance. $147 is still $147 and it's not very easy to earn.

The more important question is "Are you really that good?" Will you bet on yourself? Pay $147 in order to find out that you are actually that good. That's quite a gamble. I wouldn't bet on myself ... and I'm a bit of a conceited person when it comes to my writing.
Besides, it really doesn't mean you'll only write a few articles. It just mean that you will start writing EARLY and cut through the red tape. So, rather than being reject later, you will be rejected earlier--if you are not good enough.

That only means that it focuses more on the quantity first, then quality second.

When you write articles for others, you are supposed to earn money, not to spend it. All sites which as you to work AND to pay a fee or whatever is a scam. Even if you are an excellent writer, they will invent any excuse not to pay you. I never believe to any site which ask me to pay first, when I am supposed to earn money. What are you really paying for when you are doing a real job?

You are paying for the chance to become a top rate writer without having to prove it by writing 30 articles and having to wait until the clients rate them if they care to rate your articles at all.
This way for $147 is a shortcut for those writers who feel that they are all ready top notch writers and don't want to write articles for peanuts.

..."paying for the chance...", as far as I understand, it's not 100%ly sure that you become a top rate writer, as they stil may deny it. On the other side, even if it works, it means that you buy your top rates, how can you be really sure then that you really ARE a top rated writer? When the clients rate you, you will really know if people rate you well and if people really like what you write. Otherwise, you will never know. So the question here is: quality or quantity?

This has scam written all over it, why would I pay this web site, $147 just to write 3 articles, and what if my 3 articles I write, for them is not good enough for them then that means, I am out of $147, which I would never get back, no thank you I don't give in to web sites, that ask for money to hire me.

I would say it's more of a red flag. It should make you think about your decision. It's a major decision. There's cost and benefit involved. If it costs little to get a big benefit, you win. If not, it's a potential loss. So, it's a red flag.

It's hard to gamble, we have to pay in order for them to evaluate our works/articles. You can look for more options where websites are really hiring for writers, just send them your 2 or three articles. I worked at Odesk before, and my job is to write at least 2 articles a day, $4-$15 each article depends on how long the article (100 words, 250 words, 500 words), $2 dollars per hour from the time of your log in. So I only work at least five hours a day with my articles, some say it's small for your wage a day, yes, I know that, but it's my passion to write and I enjoy it. They will also mail you your very own debit card, got mine last 2011 and I'm still using it till now, you just have to renew it for them to know that you're still active.

No, it's not a way to earn $100 a day - it's a way to lose $147. Please tell me you're not taken in by this scam. I know I am a good writer - I don't need a 'fast track' programme and a debit on my bank account to tell me. And I expect to be paid for what I write, not the other way around. As somebody else said, this has 'scam' all over it. Save your money.

No, I'm not going to fork over $147. That was my 1st impression that it sounded like a scam. I know Iwriter is a legit writing site, but the rub here is that it's no guaratee that you will earn a $100 a day. Your articles may still be rejected by the clients and you're left with nothing to show for your money or efforts.

That doesnt' sound like a good idea at all. Who wants to pay for there writting to be looked at then to have themselves paid later on down the road. That isn't how writing works. You might need to pay a publiser to publish it but that gets take out of your earnings anyways.

If a writer is confident in his writing skills and he shows it with his work, then he'll not have to worry about his big investment because he'll be earning fast after that.
I think it's of benefit to those experienced writers to get a head start when they are new to that site.

I have started writing in my mother tongue Bengali and got some of them printed in the locally published magazines. Out of these the literary local publications charge usually Rs.30 to Rs.50.00 per page. In case of publications in the Metropolitan city of Kolkata you do not know if the renowned newspapers or magazines will ever publish the writings of the unknown writer and if you want to get it published from a well known house, you have to cough up considerable amount of money. May be such is the position in the western world as well. I dare not to write any article in English which I consider not in keeping with the live language which is now current in English language speaking countries. As for writing in commercial way, the charging of a fee is the part of the commerce and those who afford to spend the money, they may do knowing that it may or may not give any good return. As for me it is a taboo to think of such an investment because of lack of fund in US Dollars and no experience and knowledge of writing in commercial language. What I have learnt that money begets money and if one can, he succeeds and paupers are hardly to succeed whatever be the field of operation.

147 USD is a big amount and i wouldn't gamble that much. what if they tell you afterwards that the three articles you wrote were not good enough? what happens to your money? do you personally know an earning member of this site? if you do and you have enough confidence in your writing skill, then give it a try.

I think No. Its not or Most probably may be because most of the online sites without any known identity are frauds or scams.
God knows the rest but i suggest dont make any payments for enrolling with such sites, its better to earn a little rather than facing a worst betrayal. :)
Have a nice time ! God bless

Hi sirnose,
If you've done your due diligence and you have found out that the website is not a scam site and you're quite confident of your abilities then go for it. You know what they say nothing ventured nothing gained. You'll only lose 147 bucks to find out. Have a good day.
