I do admit as an accountant, audit or tax season is the busiest time for us. At least April 15, 2013 filing is done, few things still left to do, like filing with SEC and some other things.
I could relax probably for a day or two and then back to same old routine. What to do to break the stress? Mylotting, browsing the web, going to the mall, or just plain do nothing, thinking nothing. I could just probably get used to it for a day, coz, doing nothing bores me.
I am thinking of filing a leave of absence but would also bore me at home. I think I will catch up with my former officemate whom I have not seen for years. I heard she is just working in the same area as mine.
To cap it off, prayer is my best stress reliever. Do it every morning and you will feel guided by divine intervention.

I agree prayer is a great stress reliever and I do it often. Sometimes just a simple, short little prayer will do the trick. And the best thing is you can do it anywhere. I also watch tv (especially something that will make me laugh), go to the movies or exercise. After a really good work-out I usually feel better and am not as stressed anymore.

When you have off, go to a beauty salon and give yourself some pampering. Then if you still have time, have a total body massage. I find both as very good stress relievers. When the cuticles are removed from my toes and fingers, it's like I'd been freed from all sorts of stress. A body massage also gives the same feeling.

I usually beat stress by going to the movies or simply by roaming around after work. You could just call her up for a meet-up somewhere. Filing a leave would really just bore me too. I won't have anything to do at home except for maybe CLEAN ~ not a good way to spend time doing on your leave.. hehehe..
Music is also good. Perhaps catch some breeze on the beach or at a weekend getaway.
Anyway to fight boredom and stress.
Have a great mylot experience and a stress-free workday ahead!

Stress causes ailments and other problems... I must admit that I am not really good at handling stress. Sometimes I just break down and cry to ease the pain. When I have the budget, I would go out to shop or dine in at my favorite restaurants. Blogging also helps me to release the tension. Through writing, I could express my thoughts and feelings (anger, sadness, happiness, stress, etc). If I am still feeling stressed/distressed, I would go out to an out of town trip and disentangle myself a bit from all the worries I have been feeling.. There are so many ways to beat the stress... However, the best way to beat it is by doing a short prayer...
