i have done a fool and funny thing which almost killed me.once i was costive and wanted to take some pills.in my medical box,i found a pill which was big and round and like a piece of ferrero choclate suitable for me.before that, i thought i was good at taking medicine, a glass of water ,some pills,i could finish it a second.i was confident and put the ferrero choclate in my mouth, drank a big mouth of water and wanted to swallow it into my stomach through my throat .the fact was that the pill was too big to swallow, and stuck in my throat, couldn't move up and down.immediately i couldn't breath and my face was covered with tears.there was nobody around me,i felt i was going to die.i beat my chest desperately trying to move down or spit out the damned pill.maybe the beat was effective.the pill finally moved into my stomach.i survived.after that,i knew from my mother that the big pill should be crushed first and took it slowly.oh god,i was so stupid and almost dead.until now i has been afraid and shocked of that experience. would you share some fool things in your life with me?

Some years ago I took a summer course in another part of the country. The students lived at the school during the course, and the first day I left my luggage in the room and started and exploring the area around the school. There was a big garden with different kinds of sculptures and other things. One of the things in the garden was a very tall tower. There was a kind of staircase from the ground to the top of the tower, but the steps were very extremely narrow and their was no railing. I thought: "There must be a great view from the top of the tower" and I decided to climb all the way to the top of the tower. I got to the top of the tower without problems but when I had to climb down I suddenly got very scared and afraid of falling down because of the very narrow steps and because there was no railing. I climbed down very slowly and I got safely back to the ground, but I felt shocked when I got down because I knew that I could have broken my neck if I had fallen down from the staircase Later that day I returned to my room and I started reading the practical information about the school. The tower was mentioned in the small book about the school and it said in the book: "It is extremely important that you don't attempt to climb the tower on your own. Contact the staff of school if you wish to climb the tower" Oops...I suddenly realized that I did something very dangerous because I didn't read the information first. I learned my lesson, and today I read the information first

This usually happen to children, which is why the label 'keep out of reach'. Anyway, I was a silly kid too. There was once I drank the entire bottle of cough syrup because it tasted sweet. Luckily it was children's cough syrup, so I ended up sleeping the whole day. Another time I tried to imitate our house maid testing the iron when she wanted to do ironing. I burnt my hand, luckily it was not too serious. Now I know the way she tested the iron is wrong. Instead of putting the hand to test the heat, we should just start ironing to see if it's been heated up.

I had same experience, but it was not intentionally. I just thought I can swallow the tablet - it's not too big anyway, but I really hate taking meds. So, it is always hard for me to swallow tablets or capsules. Then, thinking it is the last med for my one week medication- I took the pill, put into my mouth and gulp a glass of water. Then I felt the pill stuck in my throat- and I feel like the earth stopped moving (lols) The last thing I remember is- someone give me a hard pat on my back and there the pill flew in the air

Hi, Sometimes I swallow pills without water whether it is big or small. But now after reading your experience I think that I should take pills with water otherwise I may have to suffer like you. We make such mistakes sometimes. But they are very memorable. Once I forget to take the keys and latch is locked. I couldn't open the door. I have to cut the door and opened the latch. Such fool things happened in our life.

When I was young I jumped off my mother's sewing machine. Landed...on my head. Very painful and head swelled but luckily I survived. Maybe my brain never really recovered though:)

I never had such an experience with pills. My throat is big enough to swallow all types of pills.
