Who would not want to maximize his time and have his days organized? We all have troubles in managing our time properly and using checklist is one that i considered effective in managing my time. It becomes a habit to me and I could see how much it facilitates my work and leaves me more time for my family, other hobbies, community involvement and even time for prayer.
Are you making good use of your time given to you every day? We may be very busy all the time, but do we maximize our time and are the things we are busy about worthwhile?
"It is not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?" (Henry david Thoreau)

That is also considered to be another form of using a checklist.

Having a checklist is a really good way on managing your time because as you write on the things that you should do you can able to ponder on the things that you should do first and the things that is less priority. I think on our daily lives, the thing that makes us busy is that we don't know what to do, our mind somehow makes us feel busy because you are keep on thinking what to do next unless when you have already made a checklist or planned your day, and it will be easy now for you to do your things. Even though you have a lot of things written on your checklist when it is properly organize, things will just run smoothly and you will just end your day not knowing that you have done a lot of things on your day not feeling so busy regardless of the bundle of things you have been doing. Stay organize my friend. Have a nice day.

Yes I do. It helps me a lot to keep track of what I should be doing, becaus if I don't I will get lost. Like now, I have'nt really listed my to do list this morning that is why I am spending my time posting in mylot. My bad. I just need to unwind for a while. I need this. I need to rant.

In the past I was a very organized person. I had a daily schedule and I had to get X amount of things done. I had 3 children in school and I was a single mom who worked well over 60 hours a week at times. I was on call 24/7 for my work and I loved it. My boys were all older and in middle and high school. I had to juggle their schedules and making sure their school/after school activities were taken care of as well as assuring my job duties were maintained. I had a monthly/weekly/daily calendar at home, at work and a personal calendar I kept on me at all times. I had a daily list of things that I had to get done and I organized them by importance and whether they were work/personal/home etc. I managed just fine. Now.... some years later I am remarried and I have 3 small children. My organization has been thrown out the window. I was very organized right up until the birth of my twins. Now I can't seem to organize myself at all. It is a crying shame too. To think what I had accomplished in the past with my schedule and getting everything done and now I am just all thumbs at it. I do still try to keep a daily check list for working online but anything can happen with 3 small children and the list goes out the window.

That is true. It is easy and helpful to use checklist but the question of maintaining them is another issue.
Hope you can keep up with your time.
have a nice day ahead.

When I was in school I did keep a really strong schedule for myself to follow so that I was able to make the best use of all of my time. This resulted in my getting a good grade in all of my courses.
However now that I'm a mother, I find that keeping a daily schedule is not something that I really do. The reason that I don't keep a schedule now is because of the fact that with kids there are always curveballs that are thrown at you and I get frustrated when I am not able to keep my schedules that I draw up for myself.

I have an excel checklist with me as a guide for all the tasks that I need and is planning to do. The planner has a date, status, task, and remarks columns so I can play with the data I have. When a task is done, I mark it as “done” and hide the whole row so that only active tasks and plans are visible on my planner.

I am more relaxed now but used to have a list or priorites that had to be done when I was working full time. I had to, or else I would get muddled - and I cannot work in confusion. I work part time now but am still busy so still have a list of things to do each day.
