As the heat of the summer goes high, so as the consumption of water nowadays...

Maybe the price of water has gone up, like many foodstuff nowadays. Food and water seems to be getting scarce, Earth's resources are being stretched to the limit and this may be a sign of things to come.

yes, i agree. some establishments are really taking advantage of the situation. they know that people will have no choice but to buy, so they always make a price hike which i think is not good if the intention is to take advantage of people. if the wholesale price has really gotten high perhaps, then i would understand.

That is so wrong of the stores to do that. I use my own filter water to consumer by refilling bottles. Since I live in Puerto Rico it is warm here all the time. So I drink alot of lemon water which I make myself. There is no way I would by bottled water especially if they are raising the prices due to it now getting warmer outside. That should not be allowed and there ought to be a lawa againist it. Here in Puerto Rico guys will by a case of bottled water for about 3.99 (24 bottles) and then sale each bottle for a dollar. So they are making 20.00 dollars on a case of water.

Absolutely, people are taking advantage of this summer. That is why i always bought water jug each time I went out to avoid buying outside. I always water with me due to this too much heat.

That's really bad. They add charges for refrigeration. I am like, hey it's supposed to be cold because it is called a cold drink so, it should be inclusive of all the agreed upon prices including the refrigeration charges. It's crazy. This whole marketing business is. They look for their own betterment rather than the satisfaction of the customers.

Everything is becoming overpriced these days. it's not just water; gas has skyrocketed over the past few years. Even shoes are becoming more expensive!

The summer is getting super hot . I dont like this amount of heat , I am also drinking a lot of water . I do notice people buying more water also .

It's great that more people are buying bottled water over all that carbonated soft drink. However, like you, I have noticed that the price of bottled water has increase dramatically over the years. It is annoying! I tend to purchase bottled water in bulk lots (24pks) as this seems to be cheaper ;)

Definitely water consumption would go high this summer. Like you said, people would look for more water to drink during this days, and also, people usually take a bath more than once because of the heat. And because of the high demand for water, prices would usually go up. This is also the same with electricity. People would usually turn their aircons and fans for longer time. But since it seldom rain during summer, energy companies are having difficulties in generating enough supply of electricity. This is why some parts of the country are experiencing black out this days.

That's cheating. Fortunately, the price of water here is quite stable, no matter what the condition is. But I always bring my own drinking bottle though. I can't afford to spend more money just for buying water.

This is bad, taking advantage of others for their profit making . Yeah, the weather here is hot and humid too. There is no rain for quite a number of days now. My room is liken a sauna . I was supposed to go to bed by now, but because of the heat it makes me to stay a little longer .

yes this yr also summer heatdemands more water intake.in india we enjoy a drink made from raw mango pulp,jaggery,cardamom,safron which is so cooling $ proctects us from the scorching heat.
