Do you know sudden infant death syndrome or SIDS? Do you know that this is the most common mode of death among infants between the age of one month and one year? Sudden infant death syndrome also known as crib death is defined as unexpected death where in a thorough autopsy fails to reveal a cause of death. This tragedy will more likely affect baby boys than girls and is more likely to occur in winter than in summer. Premature babies are at greater risk than full term babies. Breast fed babies are at lesser risk than bottle fed babies!!! What else do you know about SIDS?
