How long have you written someting NOT with a pen?

hi, my dear lotters.i am writing with my fingers clicking the keyboard.i have forgotten the last time i wrote something with a pen.maybe that was six years ago.nowadays, clicking and touching take the place of the pen.i use a pen just to sign my name. i can send a message on my computer or send a mail on my smartphone.there is no use of a pen and paper which were essential in old days.i just in the memory of that traditional writing way with a pen.can you share your ideas with me?

I make my grocery lst with a pen and I also write down my appointments with a ball point pen. But I don`t write, really write with a pen anymore. Most of my writings are made with a keyboard altohugh I feel that the old method was better. I have seen that programms tget obsolete and then you camnot recover information from computers unless you have printed it.

yes, sometimes i write down some notes with a pen.but i don't make grocery list with a pen.the key is "make a grocery list".i just go to the shop to buy something when i think of it.cos the shop is very near my house.but i always forget to buy one or two things and have to go to the shop again.you give me a good advice.i will make a list with a pen before i go shopping.thank you .

Hi what a pen? lol I use on in my job to put my name ot he recite
i check before people leave the store im in.
now with the smart phone and computers,with the phone we
are probly saving papper which might make us use less trees

hi tinayu oh this is interesting and makes me think too. I really
do not even remember the last time say I wrote a snail mail letter to some friend. I use email and the keyboard like most others. But you
know there's something special in getting some real snail mail with hand written letters just specially to you. For one thing for me its easier to type as my handwriting is just horribly unreadable.
also I have Firefox and error correction so I can correct any typos before emailing my friends too.

i still use a pen, pencil. Even though I am a student, there is something about writing that just brings back memeories for me. And to be honest, it makes studying more interesting. With colours, etc. Pens= the most powerful weapon, no matter how advanced we are in technology. :)

I use pens all the time because my girls are always bringing something from school for me to sign or some form to fill out. There is a cup full of them sitting to the right of me now. My youngest stayed home sick so I'll be using a pen to write a note for her to carry to her home room teacher tomorrow.

Thanks for this discussion, i still use my pen to write daily diary, daily accounts, sign documents.
