Best Mom Ever...

Philippines
April 17, 2013 9:10pm CST
My mom, an illiterate person, in her ways, I've witness how she raised us, by just planting vegetables in a small public lot. After reaping, some of it were sold in our neighbors... that is how she raised us... a very industrious person... if i were to compare myself, she is far better person than me or anyone else... and now she is old and yet still the same ever... i pray that she may be still here longer physically and spiritually.... Amen. =)

I wish my daughters would say about me half of what you said about your mom. I can see that she is a very special person. You are fortunate. She has given you a lot but has also given you an example of how a life should be lived.

I also think that mom is the best friend that one can have. I think mostly we should always love and care our parents.

I admire my mother very much. She is the most inspiring person in my live, I couldn't imagine if I was raised by another woman beside her. She taught me so many things and love me very much... I always pray for her health, and I always want to thank her, be grateful to her.

You made me speechless. I wonder how many son and daughter out there have the same thinking like yours. I love my mom so much and like you, I've witnessed her suffering and sacrifices to give us a better life more than what she had. There are times that I want to hug her and kiss her without saying a word- only to make her feel how much I adore her. But she's still working abroad- and only get the chance coming home spending a month long vacation with us. Now I miss her

yes, i think motherhood is not measured by how successful a person is. It is just how she loves her children and entire family dearly- showing it in her own ways.. that is the only thing that matters. I also hope you will continue to be with your mother and take care of her as she had taken care of you. She is the only mother you have.

I can tell how good your mum is just from your post, she has brought up her children to be grateful and appreciative. She has done well and you will do well too, you don't have to worry that you can't compare to her.

i'm glad you realise how fortunate you are to have a mom like her. a degree or a high education is not needed in order to be a good mother. the fact that you can appreciate all the efforts she's making in order to raise you also means that she's going this with flying colors. don't feel bad that you feel you can't compare with her. just do your best in everything that you do and don't let her down. remember your mom always and let her be your inspiration when your time to become a parent arrives.

Illiterate persons are intelligent in their own unique way. Moreover, farming does not need any education. I too know one person who used to make lot of money by planting vegetables on a small piece of land. He sold the vegetables. I also feel that some people have some sort of special talent for growing fruits and vegetables. The plot of land, whether big or small, is not of importance. The important thing is their special talent and their love towards the work they do.

Your respect for her shows how well she raised you. Kudos to this woman you call Mom and may you be every bit of what she was to you to your children.

I was touched both on how your mom had strive to give you a better life and at the same time how you had value and treasure her efforts to make this possible despite her limitations. As a daughter this reminds me of the sacrifices our mother had done for us too and I missed her for she's with my sister in the province and hopes that she will still be blessed with more years to be with us. And as a mother, I could not aptly describe how it would feel to know that your children cherish what you did for them. God bless you and your mom.

wow, you have an amazing mom. I am sure she will live a long healthy life because she is used to working hard. That alone is already a great exercise. I am happy to note also that you are so proud of your mom. You are so lucky to have her.

I'm glad to hear that you have a great mother. It is definitely for parents to be industrious and to work hard to care and provide for their family. It really does help out a lot if a person can grow their own food to help feed their family. The cost of food continues to go up.

Of course the mom is of the greatest blessing of our creator and we should take care of this great blessing by serving her, keeping happy with our actions and good words so we may also get her more and more happiness.

My mom was also incredible growing up and she still is, she has helped me so much to be able to help me gain success and reach my goals in life. She has really helped me through college and she also pushed me to be able to work so hard and pay my way through college. Mom's are incredible and we are all gifted to have such incredible women in our lives.

Hi ! Our mom did so much in our life , in your life starting in conception for 9 months up to date. Actually even our life can't pay for all the good things she did to us , forever we are indebted ! Therefore our mom deserved only the best thing , hope we can give her the best in life. We need to bring and treat our mom sometimes , we need to let them feel that we loved and we're grateful for all the things she have done to us. We must be very proud of our mom.

i pray for her too,, i agree with you, my mom is a beautiful and kind person. she is humble and my adviser. i always pray for the best to her. and i'll always cry when i remembered the time my mom always patted me and cares me when i'm small, mad to me if i didn't obey her. well when i was small i'm so childish a lazy kid. but when i grow up, i try to help her as much as i can just to want to see her smile, :D
