The Boston Marathon bombing was definitely an act from a sick mind, a heartless evil, a disgusting coward of a creature, a psycho.
The Boston Marathon was a festive event, as in all marathons, where people come to run, to get to the finish line, to be fulfilled that one has ran the race, and finished!
The bombing not only destroyed that festive feeling, it curtailed lives!
Yet from the chaos comes a story of that seventy-eight year old runner, the one who tumbled down from the deafening impact of the explosion, and the old runner, a veteran of many marathons, stood up and ran the finish.
There's a lesson sent, to those butchers of men, that the human spirit will rise, despite all the jolts and the shockwaves, for the runners may stumble, but they get up to finish the race.
Inspiring, indeed. Now contemplating on joining a marathon, too.

Yes, it is an inspiring story, and should be shared with more and more people. The people who do such heinous act must not be forgiven.

The criminals need to get their corresponding punishment. Incarceration, for life, in seclusion, with no one to as much as say a word, so he would feel, if he can, the punishment.

It was indeed a shocking one. 3 lives was lost and a lot were injured. I was a runner, I join fun run races and this event was shocking to all running enthusiast. Hopefully it will not demoralized the running event on our country. If you will ask me, I will still run because running has been an exercise for me. It's my way to take away all the stress and loss my weigh especially I gain weigh this past days.

I am not ready to run a marathon, but I was touched to see all the people helping others, when their own safety could be at risk. There could have been a lot of other bombs unexploded and ready to go off. A lot of people ran for safety, but the first responders and others helped where they could. It makes you feel good about humanity again!

Hi friend, I literally cried ( something i do not do naturally or often) watching the news on CNN, cause i have a son that is just about the age of one of the fatality, can't help it cause he run to he's sister and mom as he's dad who was about to finish the race, OMG we can never feel safe anymore wherever we are or enjoying everything we normally do, hope that the perpetrators are caught and made accountable, yep the human spirit would rise and I saw a lot of really brave people out there, don't give these people the the joy from their acts, let's live as we did ( no matter how difficult)but make them accountable for their crimes

That's what the Boston Marathon's about... I also heard it was a charity? Raising money for? I am sorry not very familiar with the run but the bombing was devastating. Who on earth in the right mind to bomb something that is just running? Ha! Pathetic. A really act of terrorism. But whoa for grandpa! That is determination! He came to run and finish, so no bombing can stop him. Go grandpa go!

Hi Eileen, We must not let those who are trying to spread fear win. That is what they want but we must show them that it just isn't going to happen. Blessings.
