Im getting my hair cut off today.. its been a long time for me.

Sometimes even something as basic as having our hair cut can make us feel so much better, even better when you change your style, I have known this in the past, although for me the actual part of getting my hair cut I don't enjoy, as I have to stare in the mirror at me and I feel uncomfortable, but afterwards I feel so much better for having it done, I always keep it really short. How short are we talking? My hair has been growing out since last year; it was about an inch or so past my shoulders, but was quite dry and damaged. I got it trimmed a few times before this, but it still wasn't growing, so this summer, I got it seriously chopped off! But the stylist cut it unevenly and because I had the ends razored, I've been growing it out ever since. Now I've got to find a stylist who can cut hair properly (I've NEVER had two bad haircuts in a row before!) and try to get my hair back to wear it was-thick and shiny!

Well it will be cooler and it is very amazing I heard it grows back. Have you thought about short hair styles? There are many and more manageable than longer hair styles.

I believe you will look great for a change . The hairstylist should know which short hair style suits you the most . I have maintain short hair now as the weather is very hot and humid. Very uncomfortable with long hair

There's a trim and then there is short hair. I like to get my hair cut once a year, in the fall. Then, by the time spring rolls around, its long enough to put up again. I like it up in the summer and off my neck without having to keep going in for more hair cuts.

oh you have such pretty hair. i used to hate getting mine cut cause when i was young i liked being able to put it up or leave it down and style it different ways. but these days i dont care and dont feel like styling it so it dont matter so much. im sure you are just as beautiful both ways. let us see it when you do. ok?

I haven't gotten my hair cut in well over a year and it's definitely getting pretty long. My girlfriend is probably going to trim it up a little bit soon though because it's getting pretty messy.

Wow, so many people getting their hair cut on Mylot lately! Haha. Good luck with that. I may or may not do the same, but I won't do so in the Summer. I have very long hair now and if I get it cut too short now it will be in that weird grow out phase during the worst of the Summer months and I will be so hot with no way to get it up off my neck. So, I'd rather leave it long and be able to secure it up off my neck during the heat. It's not my most attractive look, but when it's super hot and muggy out looking cute is the farthest thing from my mind.

You have more nerve than I do. Mine is way past my waist. I do get a few inches cut off at a time. I prefer short hair but haven't gotten the nerve up to cut it. And I mean short.

I am in the "growing out" phase. I got my hair cut really short twice this winter. I wanted to quit dying my hair, so I had all the color cut off as much as possible.You will look okay, and your hair will thank you for it.

Well, me too. I am often going to salon and I love a long hair silky hair. But the problem is, even if I took care my hair, still, split ends attack and so I need my hair to be cut shorter and split ends should be remove as it is very ugly for the hair to have a split ends and it makes the hair very dull.
