I do not always want to work the extra. It was not too bad earlier this week as the weather was bad and I could not do what I wanted outside. Today will be beautiful, though and I will still go to work this afternoon.

Yes, when the weather is bad and I cannot do the things I want to outdoors I would just as soon go to work and earn some money. It is not hard work, I just miss being at home with my family

I would love to be able to rely on something other than a job to pay the bills, but it is not happening. The internet accounts where I work are all secure, so I do take the extra device to be online. I sometimes feel I am busier now than when I was younger.

I have been too involved online in the past when I was out of work. I could tell that I was less healthy at that time as well. Enjoy your beautiful garden.

It was a smooth night last night. I got some baking done for the clients as well as usual chores in the house. No health problems tonight and that was good.

Well I pulled an extra shift Wednesday, then worked Thursday, Friday and here it is Saturday and I ended up pulling a double. Yikes! I brought my computer today as I had signed up for a freelance article to write before my supervisor called me at work and cried about someone cancelling for today. I got off at midnight friday and then was back in by 8 this morning. I have gotten a lot done. Meals and meds, shampooed the carpets. At least four loads of laundry. And finished my article and signed up for another one I may do after my guy has a shower and goes to bed. I work tomorrow as well. I think at some point I am going to apply for other jobs.

It would be in a different field. Problem is, I am good at this. Yes, these clients do not have a lot of behaviors.They are older and have some health needs. They like me having the computer because we can look things up and one of them really likes old cars and I have lots of car pictures and I can show them pictures of my family. I try to get all the housework done by about six thirty, with the exception of the supper dishes or any baking I want to do for the week. After supper we watch television and visit and around 7:45 I start with med passes and treatments. I help one person with a shower and by 9;15 I am on my own. I crochet or work online and watch HGTV. There are a lot of advantages to me staying put. I really need to take out a home improvement loan, so I need a current work history. If I know I want to go somewhere or do something, when I know enough in advance I can get scheduled off. Right now I am almost always off on Monday and Wednesday so I take time for some hobbies then or I take people to doctor appointments and shopping. My sister has had some health issues and now my hubby does, so it is nice to have those two days, when I do.

Wow you got alot accomplished! Your clients must be really easy going and not difficult to work with at all! Glad you can bring your computer to work with you. It helps majorly. Do you mean other jobs as in a different field?

We had rain yesterday, and it turned cold, but its been sunny since. Still on the cooler side, we like it! Maggiepie went to the hospital again today, I don't THINK they are going to keep her, but it HAS been 4 and a half hours so far...

It will be a good night, and fairly calm. I think I will read or crochet when everyone is quiet. The job is a pretty homey kind of job. I know I will be baking tonight for the guys.

I hope your mother in law is doing better. I am sure she appreciates you. Yes, our online things sometimes have to wait for us to take care of the people close at hand.

That can make for good pay checks, and a tired employee after a while. I had a co worker who worked every weekend and got her forty hours in by doing Friday night and then 8am to midnight Saturday and Sunday. Your daughter is probably working harder than I do, and she is fortunate that you can watch the grand daughter.

Yeah, we have been in a staffing crisis for ages and I think it is just getting worse. I would like to earn from home but it is not enough.

Some days I can be here more than others. I know that in many countries a regular work week is a lot more hours than we work here. I love to relax online.

Work just interferes with my fun. I may take the computer tonight. I spend a lot of time at the end of the day with very little to do . I need to wake up my brain and post more.

I am glad to have a job, but I wish it did not have so much of my life right now. I am working extra today as well.

I really miss my computer friends when I do not take the time to log in at work. I have quite a few days when I am going to be working coming up.

When I do get some extra rest my attitude improves immensely. I try to make a point to do so once or twice a week.

If I do not take my laptop with me to work I am always tempted to log on 'for just a little while' when I get home. Then I stay up too late, which is a problem because I wake up early anyway. I did it on my day off, then got called in to work. I was really tired. Nice thing is that there is always someone here.

Hi, dainy. I work a night shift and I work in a home. It is kind of a mixed blessing but I do what I can to make life good for the people I care for and myself at the same time.

I am on the way out the door again in about an hour. I have worked plenty extra this week. Pondering taking the laptop with me. Might do so. I just put a new battery in it.
