"Mommy, Daddy, someday you will be very proud of me!"
These words touched me and my husband while we were watching the video clip done by our eldest daughter who just graduated from College yesterday. Our budding Broadcast Journalist promised and is very determined that she will really be successful in her chosen career. And this, i lift up to God as I trust that God will be with her all throughout until she fulfills her promise one after the other. Making her accomplish that four-year course "on time" without any back logs is already an achievement! yet, we really claim, in Jesus' name that there will be more, she would achieve more! -- all because she has the potential to be a full blown Broadcast Journalist!
If you're a parent, i share with you this joy deep within.
and you're a daughter/son, wouldn't you be inspired with this?
Your thoughts, when you share, will be rewarded :-) ...Prof GailSMontero

You are so blessed having a very good daughter ! Good parents really yields good children. If God is the center of the family then everything works out perfectly and graciously ! I am sure in future your child will be successful in her chosen craft , because her heart have good intentions and she she lived a Godly life.

I wish her good luck. It's nice that your daughter grown to be a nice individual. If I were her parent, I would be very proud as well.

Awww... My heart just melted and I'm teary-eyed now. Sorry... I became too emotional since I had my daughter. She's about three years old now. And I have definitely dreams for her. I wish she'll never forget me when she gets older. And make us proud parents too, in whatever she achieves in life. Hehe, just a little drama here. But yes, it feels proud if your child offers you the success and gives you gratitude for their achievement. It is the only measurement parents can have, that I can also think of, to know if their doing/did well and raise a good citizen or a better person. So if I may say, congrats to both of you, you're blessed in having your daughter. Thanks for the discussion Prof. Gail! :)

Hi joizee, thank you so much for your response. this makes my day, promise!
i'm happy that the way i felt when i posted my discussion really did came across.
you're still a young mom, and i know it would make you the best mom to your daughter.
it just needs much of the effort while you're bringing her up!
you can ask as many moms, me included, as to how to raise a 21st century child. :-)
