I Got A Lot Done Today!

Thats great... so did I. Got my hair cut. Did some shopping, and I cleaned the cafe real good. Take care dear..

your day sounds like what my day was suppose to consist of but i never did get motivated to get it done so that is what i will be working on tomorrow. the weather is warming up so all the winter clothes i have to put up or my kids will try to wear coats and sweat shirts outside in 80 degree weather lol. even tho you missed out on mylot today you got a lot done

I changed out part of my wardrobe the other day. Given how temperatures can go in this region, I didn't want to fully change things out for springtime wear. I will put away the remaining "wintertime" stuff in a few weeks--maybe a month.

A little house cleaning is good. A good exercise even just for a while. I'm sure your friends here missed you too.

Wow I am impressed...I wiah I had that much energy...I wslked the track today and that was it for me...But today is my first day\ back..So in a week or so I will have to do the same thing...

Sometimes just taking a break from something we do every day can keep us fresh and it's a break from the routine, and we also appreciate it more! I am glad you got a lot done, I do find that if I move away from the computer I can get a lot more done, especially in the garden, where I am away from the temptation of the computer. You also feel a sense of satisfaction at your achievement which I am sure you do. Welcome back, and on that note I am off to bed!

I got a lot done today, too. I cleaned up the back porch and the patio furniture. I had a rest and then went back outside and started on the back yard. Still lots to do on it, but at least I've started.

That is good. I am really bad for procrastinating when it comes to cleaning. I took out the trash, and put one load of clothes in the washer but that was it. I still want to vacuum and sweep and mop. I'd like to wash more clothes if I have the time but I doubt I will. It's good that you will be able to sell those clothes, it will put some money in your pocket.

i thought you had a day care situation. Doesn't it feel good to have these things done? I am getting up the energy to get into my walk in closet. It needs a good going through. Have put it off a while. Maybe reading this will get me going.

I know this is a few days later but I just have to say...I hate sorting through my kids clothes. As soon as I read your post I automatically felt sympathy...even though you may not mind. We live in Florida so we don't even have "seasonal" clothes really but I just did the big switch a couple of weeks ago for the next larger sizes. I have all the clothes sorted by size in plastic storage bins but it just seems so tedious to me. This time my husband helped a ton but I felt like I had clothes everywhere...if you got it all done in one day you are my hero!!!!

Good for you. I need to do that with the boys winter clothes and summer clothes. I have been thinking about it for a few weeks now but I have not gotten around to it. My sister has a new baby boy so I will be giving the twins clothes to her. I would like to sell them too but I don't know if they will be in the best shape to sell after she is done with them. I will have to see.

I have been away from home for 6 days to take care of my mother in law in the hospital. When I got home, I saw atleast 3 basketsful of soiled clothes! I wanted to wash them all at once, but not having slept good for the past days plus the heat, well, I had to do it for two days. But at least now, I have more time to be here.

I've been doing this all week going throw my daughters clothes since I'm always going throw my sons any ways because of his growing all of the time. I resell most all of my kids clothes a few go to my husbands baby cousin like birthdays and such. I just noticed my daughter has nearly no clothes to wear at all for the summer so every Friday my mom buys her a few outfits. Same withnmynnephew and son.

It is always sooooo nice to get some extra things done. I want to do some spring house cleaning but our weather has made it impossible...you just don't feel like washing windows or curtains when the wind is blowing all the SNOW around! Is it April?

i got a lot done this week too, i mapped out what i should do for the week and most of it i was able to successfully do and i am soooo happy about it.

I have ben doing that this past few weks but sporadically. Just cleaning things out and throwing away and going through personal papers - just trying to get things in order. I was away from home for nearly a year due to surgeries and have been so busy with my grandtwins from I came home. They are not here for a few weeks so have been doing the stuff that should have been done months ago. We need to clear. Good luck with your sale.

I am trying to get my spring cleaning done as well, but I have such bad allergies. Yesterday we went to my nephews Little League game and the wind was blowing so hard that it was picking up dust. I am just taking my time and hope to finish some more tonight and the rest tomorrow night. It feels great having a clean house. I have a lot of my craft items to go through and I know it will take me a couple of days to do because I have a lot of fabric. I missed seeing you on here as well.

I'm glad that you were able to get a lot done yesterday. We do feel so much better when we are able to really accomplish a task through to the end. Yesterday I was able to things done around the house. Today I will be working on straightening up here and there and keeping up with the dishes.
