We'll my husband and I are together for 9 years. I surprised him with the help of his friends. i guess he was surprised. but i never heard him say thank you. never greet me.
so im wondering maybe he was shy coz he did not give me anything in return. but i dont expect anything coz we are currently renovating our house so it is understandable the we have financial issues.
i just saved a little that is why i bought something to surprise him. but it turns out it is not a h appy anniversary coz we fought for some misunderstanding. i frowned because early in the morning because he never greeted me. :( am i childish or what?

Oh come on biach17. Being with a man and married
with him for sometime you should already know by
now that men, generally, are not much into remember-
ring occasions. And the thing is, we, women, are so
sensitive about it. Just simply lay out your plans for
the day and be happy by celebrating it together. Anyway,
you have already initiated the celebration. Happy
anniversary!

I think it's quite normal to feel a bit sad and djsappointed if your husband didn't greet you on your anniversary. After all, each year of our marriage is like a milestone that we should cherish. Personally, i feel that there isn't any justifiable reason not to even greet your spouse on your anniversary.

So why don't you talk to him about it. He has to know how you feel, because after all it's you who made the efforts for the preparation.
That way, next time he knows what to do already, to at least reciprocate the nice gesture.
