...boredom at work

The summer seasons bring all the unproductive traits in me. I get more bored, more sleepy and sometimes, I just want to forget that I have to work at all. Since there is nothing new happening in the office, I would think of ways to kill my time but I can’t. My actions are monitored and I personally don’t want to slack during my work.
But it’s utterly boring and I hope this passes before the next work week. Or else. I might actually cut hours and look for a distraction.

It is the heat, making you feel lethargic with no energy. You need an energy boost and need to get out and walk or do something productive or you will just wallow in your misery. Why not actually take a day off and go out and make a day of it? Maybe you will feel better the next day. It is amazing how the climate has changed. I was in Italy for a summer some twenty years back, but it was not that hot. Hope you find a way to cool off and do something fun.

Hope I could do that. Taking a break seems really like a good idea at the moment. thanks for the advice.

Hi there Jeanneyvonne!
I understand how it work can get boring especially in summer when all you can think about is the beach, going swimming or just enjoying cold drinks. I think it would be good if you can take a few days off work, just for a breather.

The weekend might do the trick for me. Even I get bored not doing nothing. But if there is no new development, I might take some other work. I like to keep busy and earning as much as possible.
